New safety recall recieved in mail yesterday
jkeaton replied to tyeayo's topic in Recalls & Technical Service Bulletins
Yes. To all those rushing to schedule an appt. , read the notice. It says they will contact you when the parts are in. Will do you no good to take it in before. -
Agree with Lobitz. The front part does not flow well.
-
So we are to assume you are having the same issue. Just checking since you started replying to folks who were replying to the OP.
-
Are you and the original poster the same?

Anyone else happy that the registration says "Dodge Ram?"
jkeaton replied to 2011DodgeRamJourney's topic in Owner Impressions
It's referred to by many things. Mine says it's a truck. Different with insurance companies also. I would not worry about it too much. -
2011 SXT Front wheel drive in the snow. All season tires
jkeaton replied to 2011DodgeRamJourney's topic in Owner Impressions
Does well in light snow in a relatively flat area. Ours did not do well last year on a trip to New York. But that was driving in mountainous terrain with 4-6" of snow on the ground. Once I turned traction control off, I was able to power up the road we were on. With TC on, the car just came to a dead stop as, once slippage was detected, it cut power to the wheels, so your sitting there flooring it and nothing is happening. -
Without knowing what kind of graphics, I have no thoughts about it.

The ABS module could get wet causing it to shut off. It does not affect the brakes themselves. It's really no big deal. All they do is put silicone on the connections to keep moisture out. -
I bought a new head unit for my eclipse. BT, Pandora, satellite, USB and six ports, all the bells and whistles. I still just listen to AM talk radio. Lol. Have yet to figure out how to make all that nonsense work. Not even trying on the DJ that is my wife's DD.

Mine makes noises on a cold start up like no other vehicle I have owned. Nature of the beast. Use the correct oil and don't worry about it.

Strange stalling issue - Tranny?
jkeaton replied to George Kalavanos's topic in Engine & Transmission
Long shot but check to see if there is transmission fluid in the radiator. Did they say why it needed a new transmission? Welcome to the forum. -
Welcome!
