Installing HID lights on your Journey (step by step)
jkeaton replied to email4walker's topic in Accessories, Modifications
Try flipping the light connector. Every one I have ever gotten I always have to plug them in "backwards". -
I grew up around guns. Hunted every year in just about every season. Owned rifles, shotguns, bows, etc. Sold them all when I got married (along with my bike). I'm trying to convince her to let me get a handgun for personal protection. It's a crazy world we live in.

Welcome to the forum. Someone will chime in for sure. I assume you have checked your owners manual?

Some people are just not cut out for the internet. I believe we are done with this one.

2nd post and you gotta act like that? No where did you say you did not have the wheels. We are not mind readers.

Could be any of the things if you only continued to add water every time it overheated and not the proper antifreeze. Why not just go to a dealer? If there is water in your oil, it most likely is a head gasket or a cracked block. You need the help of a competent mechanic preferably a dealer.

It will make the heated wheel feel not so heated. Think about it. Your basically putting a layer of insulation over the wheel.

My bad....In the United States, the NHTSA has mandated ABS in conjunction with Electronic Stability Control under the provisions of FMVSS 126 as of September 1, 2011. My point is though, at least around me, it is not a safety feature or emissions component that would cause you to fail an inspection.

Stuck on scan

No need for personal attacks. No reason for name calling. -
A brake warning light will fail. That is a problem with the braking system itself. ABS wont. At least not yet. ABS is still an option on many vehicles and, until our wonderful, bloated government mandates ABS, they can't fail you for something that is optional.

To keep the cost lower.

Ha!! That was the plan. I should own stock in Discount Tire. All my vehicles plus my parents cars have tires purchased there. They are good to me. With these tires, they gave me free replacement certificates since I have been a customer for so long.

Stock size. 225/65-17

and bought new tires! Got to 40,000 miles on the factory Kuhmo's. Tread was almost to the wear bars, so I figured I'd go ahead and replace them now before snow season gets here. Picked up a set of Falken Pro G4 all season's from discount tire for $112 each.

Get your battery tested first of all.

Fixed the cat tour. Recall notice says brakes will continue to function. According to this, abs light will not fail inspection. See #2 in the brake system failure indicator lamp section. http://leg1.state.va.us/cgi-bin/legp504.exe?000+reg+19VAC30-70-80
