  1. This link provides wiring diagrams for the Dodge Journey. Thanks Bigtsr. Previous link dead. Will update soon.
  2. Making this link a sticky in the Maintenance DIY section. Thank you!
  3. here ya go. www.sylvania.com/en-us/applications/automotive-lighting-systems/Pages/lrgmain.aspx
  4. I put those exact same bulbs in my fogs. Most times I can't even tell they are on.
  5. Welcome to the forum. There currently is no recall for rusted battery trays. As stated, could be caused by leaking battery or salt/corrosion. At least you have a new one now. Going forward, maybe give it a good wash down every once in awhile.
  6. Yeah, truck tires are a different story. Mine were like $180 each.
  7. Welcome to the forum! Correctly stated above.. If that don't work, gotta find a shop or take it to the dealer.
  8. Oh, I know, the $33 ones were 185/65-14, BUT, I just found replacement for the DJ (225/65-17) for $65 each. Getting them this weekend. $435 out the door with replacement certificates. Discount Tire is the bomb.
  9. It's strange we think $120 each for a tire is reasonable....I just put tires on my daughters beater car....$33 each. All 4 tires with replacement certificates for less than $250.
  10. Which is so stupid. Now, someone needs to figure out how to keep the fogs on all the time.
  11. Do you know what size you're looking for? Maybe more than a quick glance is in order.
  12. If these were aftermarket 17" wheels, how would we know what size they were? Lol. If you don't have the vehicle, why do you need the info? A little background would be helpful.
  13. You can't go smaller than 17" due to clearance issues with the front rotors. Check with your local tire store for options. Maybe they have some used ones as mentioned. If you buy only two, the should be installed on the driven wheels for maximum traction.
  14. No problem on mine. Like Bigtsr, I learn to use a hand or foot to keep it open if it won't stay open on its own. This is akin to having to push the defrost button twice. Sometimes you must adapt to the vehicle if it won't adapt to you.

    Helo every one

The title should be marked flood or salvage if it is a flood vehicle. Google is your friend also. Plenty of sites specific to identifying flood damaged vehicles. Welcome to the forum. I hope that some unscrupulous folks aren't buying up flood damaged vehicles and shipping them to the Middle East. http://auto.howstuffworks.com/under-the-hood/salvage-used-junkyard-parts/10-ways-to-spot-flood-damaged-car.htm#page=0
  16. Moving to the correct section. As stated, that's the way the lights work on the DJ. Putting HID's in stock housings is generally frowned upon.
  17. Mine clunks too. Common. Dealer told me the same thing. Normal. I'll use my warranty should something happen.
  18. Best way to learn is just figure it out. Self taught knowledge is priceless.
  19. Check some online retailers like discount tire. They will list plus sizes. Also use an online tire size calculator to see differences in width and diameter for different tire sizes. Or just go to s tire store and ask them.
  20. There is a sticky in the new member section where you can download owners manuals. I'd start there.
  21. Hard to believe it got that hot without any outward indication. I'd get a second opinion if you don't know this for sure. Sounds like someone is trying to take you for a ride.
