    vegas bound

    Pics or it didn't happen....
  2. Could always get the kind that hang on the headrests. Otherwise, custom aftermarket is your only choice besides sacrificing factory installed safety features.
  3. I like hearing positives.... biased I guess....plus beer.
  4. You, sir, have mastered the two button push shuffle....
  5. I lived in silver spring and Germantown.
  6. Good info. Research towing capacity when buying a vehicle if you plan on towing. It's not like the old days when you could buy a country squire off the lot and pull a 6000lb trailer with ease.
  7. Welcome to the club! What part of Md? Nice ride!!
  8. Its not a body on frame vehicle. Unibody can't handle as much towing as there is no "frame" to support the additional weight. Vehicles getting lighter and using thinner metal, plastic, fiberglass, etc. Trying to meet government mandated mileage standards results in loss of towing capacity.
  9. I do not know. I always consult the tire dealer or use an online tire size calculator to figure out the size differences.
  10. All this time and you have not tried contacting your local dealer? Try that.
  11. Nav units are a common complaint. Glad I dont have it, I use my phone.
  12. Not me. If you can see it plain as day, take it back and find another tech or advisor who can see it, point it out. It's either there or not. Welcome to the forum.
  13. Get yourself a code reader. Cheap insurance. Pays for itself the first time you use it.
  14. Your DJ will act like a typical FWD car until slippage is detected. It will then transfer power to the rear wheels. Unfortunately, it is not like a typical 4wd vehicle. You will feel/ hear all kinds of weird things going on as the power train transfers power between front, back left and right. If you think something is wrong, I suggest taking it up with your servicing dealer.
  15. Get the code read. Your car is telling you what's wrong. Post the code here if you need help.
  16. This. Who serviced the vehicle before? Take it back.
  17. In this day and age, if there is no check engine light or code, dealers really can't do much besides charging you $100 and stating "cannot duplicate problem".
  18. Since you started a separate thread on the same subject, your post here will be deleted. No need for two separate discussions on the same subject..
  19. You can go to a site like discount tire and it will list available "+1" or "+2" sizes.
  20. Really the best way to tell.....compare the differences first hand.
