  1. Shoulda bought a toyota. I hear they are trouble free.
  2. I've stated before, the 2.4 we had in our 09 was a capable engine if you understand its limits. The pnly engine related issue we had in the 4 years and 80,000 miles we put on it was an intake runner valve malfunction, which was covered under our extended warranty. There is no comparing it to the V6 though in terms of "get up and go". Mileage is about the same. What I could not stand about the 2.4 was the agonizingly long time it took to get up to speed.
  3. Dealer said it was a pos yet you still bought it....hmmmm..., soooo, K, Bye!! Dont let the door hit you on the way out...... I would lock this thread but I know how much you guys like to talk smack to the naysayers. He's closed his account (which he cannot do, by the way)....have at it.
  4. You can download the owners manual here. It will tell you. http://www.dodgejourneyforum.com/topic/7566-get-your-owners-manuals-here/
  5. You still under warranty? As stated, what year, model, what system? We cannot read minds.
  6. Though I have not needed to replace the brakes on my 2013 (37000 miles, pads are looking new still) I did in my 09. The dealer replaced all four rotors and 8 pads twice within 20k miles (free because we complained) After the third dealer installed rotors warped, I went aftermarket. Bought the middle of the road rotors and pads from oreillys. Not the cheapest, not the most expensive. That last set lasted me until I traded it at 80k miles, still had plenty of pad and no vibrations. Imo,anything but OEM in the earlier models is heads and tails above. It's all a matter of how much you are willing to spend. EBC makes good stuff. Personally, I don't keep them long enough to realize the cost. If you are planning on keeping, go for it. If you are looking to replace crappy OEM stuff to get you through the next 50 or 60 thousand miles, do what I did.
  7. How many miles? What engine? Fwd or awd? Dealer would be able to properly diagnose. You could try disconnecting the battery for awhile to reset everything.
  8. Same here. 22-23 around town. Just got almost 28 on a trip over the long weekend. I'm not complaining.
  9. Not here. We will not see cold temps for another 3 months. NC has two seasons. Winter and summer.
  10. Your warranty paperwork should state the deductible if you have one.
  11. Lol. Happy fall holiday as my work calls it.
  12. Hi noobie! You do know that we send all the vehicles that fail post assembly inspections to Canada, right?
  13. Welcome aboard the crazy train!!!
