  1. I believe he said "inexpensive"....lol.... $475 for just the bars?
  2. No issues. Dealer just replaced front struts and isolators due to a "clunk" coming from the front struts. Other than that small annoyance, runs perfect. I have no complaints. It is extremely difficult to get a dealer to "buy it back". As far as trading goes, you can trade it in anywhere. Heck, take it to Carmax and they will buy it on the spot even if you dont buy another one there. I find it hard to believe "no one will trade it".
  3. Only one side. Jack it up, insert jack stand, crawl under, remove drain plug, drain, re install drain plug. Done underrneath.
  4. Under the car. Seriously, one of the front suspension mounting points
  5. 6 of one, half dozen of the other for me. I have ramps too. It's a quick lift jack. One or two pumps its high enough to slide a jack stand under. Either method, 15 minutes, I'm done.
  6. 800?? Good lord. I don't think there are significant differences between 14 and 15. Someone else will chime in.
  7. I use the floor jack to lift it up and then put jack stands underneath.
  8. So, to keep this from becoming something else entirely, locking the thread.
  9. If the tire pressure light is not on, your good.
  10. Welcome aboard. We deal with the complainers in a very good way.....
  11. Check the level. If it's good you are good for a few more days. Can be done yourself in 30 minutes or less, though.
  12. Better. So much more than car stuff. It's like a pep boys/home depot/sports authority/Walmart all under one roof. www.canadiantire.ca/en.html
  13. Front calipers are normal and you can compress with a c clamp. Rears have to be turned while pressing in.
  14. I don't even know where it is. Lol. If I may ask, what is not working that you think a fuse is the issue? When I get back home later, I will check mine and see if I can figure it out.
  15. Mine was not in that year range but the fix was the same. Maybe they will update to include later years. I can imagine if I had to pay for this, I'd just live with it. Replacing struts and strut mounts, along with an alignment, is quite labor intensive. This probably would cost at a minimum $500 probably more.
  16. Coming up on 36000 miles so we went ahead and made an appointment to get the car checked out, tell them about the front end clunks, transmission clunks and the clock running fast. They kept it a day and said the radio needed a part (Radio/Telematics Gateway Module) and the front end noise was from dry away bar bushings, so the lubricated the bushings. They had to order the part for the radio so we got the car back until the part came in. On the transmission, they said they could find no problem. There were no software updates, the fluid was fine and what we are experiencing is "normal operation". OK, I don't have a problem with that and the fact they found nothing mechanically wrong means I'm not worrying about it anymore. On the way home, we had to go to a mall with some speed bumps, clunk was still there....lol...I kinda new it would be. Anyway, they got the part for the clock/radio in so we took it back. This time I took that service bulletin in and showed it to them (the one posted somewhere on here about front end clunks where they say to replace the struts and strut mounts), The service adviser said they had access to all those bulletins and I said, well did you check it out? So they kept it another day and low and behold, they found the problem. So, now we have new struts and strut mounts. 4 wheel alignment included, all at no charge. The clunking is GONE!!! I'll update if the clock slows down.
  17. The fram filter for my 3.6 is $11 at walmart. Stupid they charge you more for less.
  18. I've heard the stories about Fram filters. I have used Fram on all my vehicles for the past 30 some years. I have never had an issue. Not disputing, just stating there are always two sides to a story.
  19. You only need to ask once.
  20. Probably not going to find one. Gotta use the ol noggin.
