  1. Buy yourself a code reader. They are cheap and the best tool you can have for todays vehicles.
  2. Figured I'd post these since the question was brought up. Seems kinda high to me but there are no warning lights or anything. I'm not sure what the oil pressure range is. 42 psi at idle 83 psi at 2000 Rpms
  3. That's easy enough to figure out with a calculator. I have not because it's always listed on the paperwork.
  4. I would say your better off visiting a forum that has a bunch of hackers that do this stuff all the time. Not sure if the knowledge base is on this forum, could be wrong, but messing around with modern day vehicles electrical systems without knowing what your doing, and trying to rig something from another vehicle entirely is a recipe for disaster, IMO.
  5. $100 + for two pieces of 3' aluminum rail is NOT reasonable to me....lol I so wish I would have noticed so I could have snatched the ones off our 09 before we traded it in.
  6. Could be any number of things. Without the codes, we can only guess, I'd get it to the dealer.
  7. 2015 should not have any brake problems. Early models did. I would get it into the dealer asap.
  8. Normal 4.7L. Modded the heck out of that truck. Man I miss that truck. She was a screamer.
  9. 4 Well considering it was a ported "throttle body", yes, fuel injected. 2005 4.7L. I also had a superchips tuner which probably helped.
  10. Moved to the engine section. I ran a ported throttle body on my Dakota. Really improved off the line performance.
  11. They dont put break in oil in vehicles anymore. Change it whenever you feel like it and dont worry about the indicator then. I'm the same way. Change 5000 miles/6 months. Light has never come on. There's a bunch of threads on the subject and a bunch of different opinions. Do what makes you happy.
  12. Who changed the oil? What gives is the vehicle was not ready for an oil change yet. Which begs the question, why did you change the oil when it was not required?

    Top speed

My "speeding" is limited to 5 mph over whatever the posted speed limit is, except in school zones, which I do exactly the limit. I lived young and restless (and reckless) in my younger days and spent the better part of 10 years trying to clean my driving record up so it did not cost me $6000 a year for liability only insurance on a $2500 beater car. If I want to go fast, I'll pay for a few laps at a Richard Petty driving school or something, Not the least bit worth it to me and I do hope ya'll are on lonely stretches of road out in the middle of nowhere when your testing the top speed limiter and not endangering other drivers. I'll stop being the dad now.

    Moving to the correct section.
  15. I have not seen underhood lights standard on vehicles in a long time. My 95 Z71 has one, along with a nifty light with a cord mounted on the fender that you can extend about 5 feet. But oddly, newer cars don't seem to have them these days.
  16. I love the detailing spray. Use it every wash.
  17. I keep a running tab on Amazon. I have prime so free shipping on everything.
