    Top speed

I probably would never let my borrow my car again.
  2. How many miles are on the vehicle? Plugs dont need to be changed until 100,000 miles.
  3. Man I am so glad I dont have the nav package. Seems more trouble that it's worth. I would just use my phone anyway.
  4. How many miles on the vehicle? I would be concerned with any mechanic who tells you they "think" the plugs need to be changed. That sounds like someone just willing to use your time and money to throw parts at it until the problem is fixed. If it were me, I'd pay the $100 diagnostic fee to have an actual Dodge dealer look at it.
  5. Look up baking headlight videos on you tube. The process for opening the Journey headlights up is probably the same as any other headlght. You have to bake them to soften the adhesive, then be extremely carful prying them off.
  6. Pressure on a thermometer? What bright engineer thought that up???
  7. Honestly, after all that, I'd just leave it stock.
  8. You can see the engine temp gauge in the tachometer window Vehicle was at operating temp. This is oil pressure, not temperature. There is another screen for oil temp with a thermometer.
  9. Buy yourself a code reader. They are cheap and the best tool you can have for todays vehicles.
  10. Figured I'd post these since the question was brought up. Seems kinda high to me but there are no warning lights or anything. I'm not sure what the oil pressure range is. 42 psi at idle 83 psi at 2000 Rpms
  11. That's easy enough to figure out with a calculator. I have not because it's always listed on the paperwork.
  12. I would say your better off visiting a forum that has a bunch of hackers that do this stuff all the time. Not sure if the knowledge base is on this forum, could be wrong, but messing around with modern day vehicles electrical systems without knowing what your doing, and trying to rig something from another vehicle entirely is a recipe for disaster, IMO.
  13. $100 + for two pieces of 3' aluminum rail is NOT reasonable to me....lol I so wish I would have noticed so I could have snatched the ones off our 09 before we traded it in.
  14. Could be any number of things. Without the codes, we can only guess, I'd get it to the dealer.
  15. 2015 should not have any brake problems. Early models did. I would get it into the dealer asap.
  16. Normal 4.7L. Modded the heck out of that truck. Man I miss that truck. She was a screamer.
  17. 4 Well considering it was a ported "throttle body", yes, fuel injected. 2005 4.7L. I also had a superchips tuner which probably helped.
  18. Moved to the engine section. I ran a ported throttle body on my Dakota. Really improved off the line performance.
  19. They dont put break in oil in vehicles anymore. Change it whenever you feel like it and dont worry about the indicator then. I'm the same way. Change 5000 miles/6 months. Light has never come on. There's a bunch of threads on the subject and a bunch of different opinions. Do what makes you happy.
