First time I went to CA, everyone told me I just had to go to a Tim Hortons. It's a combination donut breakfast place. Honestly, imagine ordering a mc muffin and a dozen donuts at the same place.

Tim Horntons is like a cross between mcdonalds and dunkin donuts here in the states.

    Tim Hortons FTW!
  4. Same here. Depending on outside temp of course.
  5. Good luck with it. And good decision to get it to a Dodge dealer asap to have it checked out. If they find anything, take it back to the GM dealer and tell them to fix it (unless it is covered under whatever warranty is left, if any). We'll keep or finger crossed that this turns out good despite the warnings and reservations posted. Would hate to turn another first time DJ owner into a Dodge hater because they purchased a used DJ with questionable history. Keep us posted!
  6. Yeah, you would think they would do something about it if this happens frequently. My guess is cheap plastic and/or poor "plastic welding" or quality control of said welding of the two halves.
  7. I had HID low and high beams in the 09 DJ because those stock headlights were just simply aweful, I mean to the point of seemingly having no headlights at all on a dark, rainy night. And, yes, I got flashed, alot. The 2013 headlights seem to be much better, so I have not thought about upgrading. I have HID's in stock housings on my truck, but only the high beams, so I can turn them off when cars come at me. I'm thinking about doing that on the DJ. Just the high beams only. No way in the low beam stock housings. I respect my fellow driver. BUT, with HID's in the high beams, when some ricer somes along and blinds me, I can blind him right back.....
  8. Welcome to the forum. Refer to the owners manual for recommended coolant. The reservoir should be easy to replace. Just a couple hoses and screws/bolts holding it in.
  9. No, you repeatedly push the radio button and cuss the car out when it wont start. (ask me how I know)
  10. Thats sound advise. Too many red flags. I would pass on this too. Not all Dodge dealers are slimebags. TSB: Technical Service Bulletin. For issues that don't require an official recall, but the manufacturer has a "bug fix" so to speak.
  11. Be wary of a GM dealer that says they will take care of TSB's and recall work. Unless they farm it out to an authorized Dodge facility to do it, I would not trust them. Are you getting a warranty?
  12. Not if it's done correctly. You could request a warranty if you are concerned. Are you buying from a Chrysler/Dodge dealer? If so, make sure all the applicable TSB's, recalls and whatever else needs to be done by the dealer is done before you take posession of it. Welcome to the forum!
  13. They probably unfroze the calipers. Now your brakes are not scraping.
  14. 425,000 kms...whats that, like 90,000 miles???
  15. A testament to the longevity of a well maintained vehicle.
  16. You had it towed to the dealer. What did the dealer say?
  17. So totally true. Over the years, the vehicles my wife has used as her daily driver usually need brakes before tires. Mine, it's tires before brakes.
  18. Approaching 32000 miles on OEM Kumho's. Still plenty of life.
  19. Just realize you will void any warranty you may have. If your out of warranty, why not try? Or if you are still under warranty, don't go crying to the dealer when your CV axles explode.
