  1. Engine size? Mileage? Had the door wiring recall done? When did this start?
  2. This I could do. Wanting someone to do it for me. You know, too lazy to google but not lazy enough to ask someone else to do it for me!! Lol
  3. yeah. Tried cross referencing. The engine filter keeps cross referencing to the cabin filter.
  4. Alright guys, noob moderator needs help. Both my engine and cabin air filters are d.i.r.t.y.!! I mean really dirty....trying to find replacements...this will lead hopefully to a topic in the DIY section which lists various cross reference part numbers for various consumables. What I have found is the cabin filter crosses to a Fram CA10729 or CF10729 (CA-Cabin Air, CF-Cabin Filter). I cannot for the life of me find the cross for the engine air filter. Most auto parts places list it as CA11170, which is a cabin air filter. The dimensions of the CA10729 match the dimensions of the cabin filter I have. The CA11170 does not match any of the two (engine or cabin). What is the cross for the engine air filter? Dang things are expensive from what I've seen. Cheapest cabin filter I've found is $35 at walmart. I imagine the engine one is more expensive. We can make a cross reference list including K&N and all that, but some folks, like me, are not willing to drop premium bucks for a name. Just want to find out what other options are available to include everyone in the process. How about listing up what you have bought, or what you use. Air (cabin and engine), oil, etc. We could even go so far as having cross reference lists for light bulbs, etc. What do you think?

    Greetings

Welcome aboard! Let's see some pictures!!!
  6. Think so. If it detects and abnormal wheel spin, it will shut it off. Guess you hit that dip hard enough for a tire to lose contact with the pavement momentarily or just hard enough where the computer thought you were losing control.
  7. Unfortunately there are bad apples in every bunch. As stated, document everything. Hopefully your dealer will work with you.
  8. Durango, Cherokee, Tahoe/Yukon, Explorer.
  9. Ahhhhhhhh!!!! Did I say Ahhhhhhgggg!!!! Dang man.
  10. 2009 and up Owners manuals for Journeys http://api.viglink.com/api/click?format=go&jsonp=vglnk_14267011614388&key=50fc6c6096b926dca1cee5390f415da1&libId=i7f114ab0100b4cm000DL2qpaec9l&loc=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.dodgejourneyforum.com%2Ftopic%2F4938-wtbi-need-an-owners-manual-for-a-2010-journey-sxt-awd-35%2Fnull&v=1&out=http%3A%2F%2Fowners-owners.com%2Fdodge-owners-manuals&ref=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.dodgejourneyforum.com%2Ftopic%2F6854-owners-manual%2F&title=WTB.....I%20Need%20an%20owners%20manual%20for%20a%202010%20Journey%20SXT%20AWD%203.5%20-%20Classifieds%20-%20Dodge%20Journey%20Forum&txt=http%3A%2F%2Fapi.viglink.com%2Fapi%2Fclick%3Fformat%3Dgo%26amp%3Bjsonp%3Dvglnk_14267011614357%26amp%3Bkey%3D50fc6c6096b926dca1cee5390f415da1%26amp%3BlibId%3D...
  11. You are correct. My bad. It was a 60,000 mile complete service which included trans service. My bad. Hey, it was really almost 10 years ago.....I have CRS disease!
  12. You should call them and ask. They could probably help you better than I could.

    Howdy!

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the purchase!
  14. Do you have single or dual exhaust? With or without park assist? Different part numbers. Here's the site for purchasing. You can search for the one you need. http://dodgepartsdept.com/journey-parts/
  15. My guess it's more than $200. Had a minivan in the dealer about 8 years ago for a trans service. Close to $500.
  16. I've had to do this on my Sebring and my sons Tiburon. Both required removal of the intake manifold. Really not that bad. Just take your time and label all connectors/vacuum lines and whattever else needs to be disconnected so it all goes back where it came from.
  17. No drain or filler plug. Trans service is supposed to be a dealer only service. If you want to do it yourself, you will have to drop the pan and make sure you add the exact amount back in since there is no way to measure it with a dipstick.
  18. Welcome to the forum. Lots of members complain about not being able to fill completely. There are threads on the subject.
  19. Definitely a weekend job. Lol. Hopefully we will be on our 3rd DJ by the time this one needs new plugs.
  20. Should be fine to drive. I think when the light comes on it disables AWD.
  21. Not sure there s a write up on here. You could be the first. Take lots of pics.
