  1. Should work fine. As far as I know they never changed the gas cap. So if it says it fits a Journey, doesn’t matter the year. You can always return it if it does not work. Word of caution, aftermarket gas CAI’s have been known to cause a check engine light for evap leak.
  2. As stated, get the code read first before throwing parts at it.
  3. As stated, thats an exhaust hanger. Nothing that would impact anything electrical. Check your brake fluid level and if it is low, inspect the brake pads, could be worn enough for the fluid level to drop to the point of triggering the brake light. Welcome to the forum.
