  1. Haha. All I get is letters telling there is a shortage of 2013 Dodge Journeys and to come in now to get top dollar on my trade for a brand new 2015 model.
  2. Welcome to the forum. Tell us what the problem is. What year is your vehicle? How many miles? Not sure why warranty would not cover labor. Please elaborate.
  3. I wish I could too. My moderator powers are extremely limited. All I can do is move or lock threads...lol Anyhoo, my paint seems to be consistant
  4. Welcome to the forum. So did you buy new or used? Expect issues with a used vehicle. Hope you got a warranty. I would have never left the dealer lot if they "promised" me two keys but only gave me one, so you really can't complain about that, that is on you.
  5. Like I said, our 4 was good for what it was. Yes, it was severely under powered for moving such a semi-big vehicle. It took awhile to get going, but once up in the RPM's, it moved pretty good. Just took awhile to get there. Lol. We took it on many trips, loaded with 5 passengers and luggage inside and in the roof carrier. I can honestly say, empty or fully loaded (sometimes overloaded) it felt the same and mileage never varied that much. The only thing I could not stand was off the line acceleration. You punched it and it eventually got there. Lol. I had to do some serious driving changes when we got the 2013 with the 3.6. If I punched it on this one like I did in the 09, I'd burn the front tires off (provided I turned the traction control off first). The 2.4 is a very capable and dependable engine, just know its limitations. It's not a burn out, screamer engine. It is more of a work horse in my humble opinion.
  6. Still not working. Just a 10,000 ft. view of some place called Winnepeg.
  7. Never had a problem with the trans in our 09. IIRC, the 2.4 has remained unchanged.
  8. Lockinc two of these three. Keeping the one open in buying, leasing and ordering. Op, only one post is required.

  10. Is that even possible? Imagine all the configurations and settings you could f-up...lol
  11. If you do go for the 09, make sure the door wiring recall has been done, and prepare yourself to have warped rotors, unless to previous owner upgraded them from factory already.
  12. Yes that was on my Dakota about 6 years ago. Worked out great for me on the Dak. I had one set of underdash come on and off woth the dome lights, another dimmer set that came on with the headlights for a nice soft glow in the footwells at night.
  13. Oops. I mean SOME Service managers. My apologies to you Journeyman425. I wish there were more like you. The ones around me are no better than salesmen.
  14. I think they should knock it down to about 3 hunnit fity dollas. But what do I know. What you think and what is reality are usually two different things. Can't hurt to ask though. Good luck!
  15. Our 09 was very dependable. But it was the first year of production. Certainly the later years added more features and refinements that make the 09 seem archaic by comparison. I'd go for the 2012. Remember the 09 had those horrid brakes. Plus the door wiring issue (recall).
  16. Anything is possible with enough money and time. Nothing OTS at the moment. Would have to be custom built.
  17. Welcome!! Congrats on the purchase and knowing the correct designation (CUV).... : )
