  1. I only liked it for the comedy channels. But not enough to renew.
  2. They were never "required" in the U.S.. They were permitted but not required starting in 1995. Just goes to show how knowledgable service managers are. Lol
  3. OK. Lets start with what year your vehicle is, what engine, how many miles? By "not starting" do you mean not turning over or turning over but not starting? What were the circumstances around the no start condition? First thing in the morning after sitting outside all night? After driving to work? etc. Is it started now or are you waiting on an answer from the forum? P0740 should have nothing to do with the car not starting. P0740 is torque converter clutch malfunction. Please give us more detail. Could be as simple as a dead battery.
  4. There is a service charge for everything unless covered by warranty. Probably an hours labor.
  5. Please read this thread: http://www.dodgejourneyforum.com/topic/6106-daytime-running-lights-please-read-before-starting-a-thread/
  6. Like I said. Whatever makes you happy. I'll stop jonesing over it....
  7. That kit does say 2011. I'd make double sure it works with newer models. You are going to lose a bunch of functionality but more power to you. Post up the results if you can make it work.
  8. Journey SeXT is spot on with these TSB's. Lol. From the looks if it, dealer needs to re flash a module. Says 0.2 hours. So, figure the hourly labor rate of wherever you take it and that's how much it will cost. Provided that's the issue. Post back!! : )
  9. Lol. No worries. Did you physically check all the fuses?
  10. That's a good question that was never asked. I can only assume it interfered with the flow of oil.
  11. Oh crap. My apologies. That is why it is helpful to you and to us to put as much detail about your vehicle in your first post. That way we are not "assuming" incorrect information. Year, mileage, engine size, even trim level. Did you buy an extended warranty by chance? At any rate, there are several possible causes to your problem as mentioned above. None of which are an easy fix unless you know your way around a vehicle. Unfortunately a dealer visit or if you have a reputable repair shop. Someone with the proper tools and equipment will need to diagnose the issue. Expect to spend at least @$100 for an hour of diagnostic labor. Just for kicks, see if your third brake light us working. I had a Z28 that if the third brake light bulb was blown, the cruise would not work. Have no idea how the two were related. But that's an easy thing to check. Also take a look behind each wheel and see if there is a wire hanging down from a wheel speed sensor. Another thing, is it cold/icy/snowy where you are? Maybe snow/ice is packed around the wheel hubs interfering with the speed sensors. Some things you can check yourself.
  12. Oh my. Ok. New vehicles are covered by a manufacturers 3 year, 36000 mile bumper to bumper warranty. Your vehicle is a 2013. Did you not inquire about a warranty when you purchased the vehicle? Did you buy it new? I'm surprised you don't know if the vehicle you purchased came with any kind of warranty....
  13. Yes, you must be prepared to stay on top of it. It feels a bit unsettling but if your used to the sensation of the front end wanting to take off and correct accordingly, you will be fine.
  14. You have a bumper to bumper warranty. Should not cost you anything. Plus, without knowing what is actually wrong, no one can tell you how much it would cost. Take it to the dealer.
  15. I had to turn traction control off to make it up a snow covered road in New York over thanksgiving. Otherwise, I would lose all forward momentum. The engine would not rev at all. As stated by dhh3, once traction control was turned off, I was able to get power to the front wheels and power my way to the top of the hill.
  16. All I'm saying is the definitions. SUV, body on frame. CUV, unibody. Jeep is a different animal altogether. Call them what you want. I really don't care. Heck, my insurance says my DJ is a truck. Go look for filters for a DJ on those Walmart electronic parts things in the oil section, the DJ is in the truck menu with the ram and Dakota. Call it whatever makes your man-noids happy. Just know if anyone refers to it as a SUV, I'm going to correct them. Here ya go: http://www.vehiclecharts.com/suv-comparison-chart.html As I said, the lines are blurred because there are unibody vehicles referred to as SUV's.
  17. Like any aftermarket warranty, some have issues, some don't. We have not had to use it yet. Still under manufacturer warranty. Do like we did, as soon as we purchased ours, we took it to the dealer and had it checked over. Won't bother with carmax until the manufacturers warranty expires.
  18. All I'm saying it, in my situation they work just fine. Not implying they are superior to any tire. Just stating my experience both in owning the tires and driving in all conditions with them. Sure, strictly winter tires would probably be superior than any all season tire. It's just people who have not done research read a few reviews and automatically fear they have crap tires and must run out immediately and replace them. Not the case with the kuhmos. They are very capable tires if you understand the limitations of an all season tire compared to a dedicated winter tire.
  19. Just read that now that gas prices are coming down, the Feds are considering upping the gas tax for road repairs. Figures.
  20. Bad reviews on any tire performance in the snow are usually written by the people who do not adjust their driving style to the road conditions. Then they blame the tire because they can't take the same corner at the same speed in the snow.
  21. You looking at one through Carmax? That's where we bought ours.
  22. Let the modding begin! Enjoy! Not a huge fan of Obama motors anymore. Good luck!!
  23. Get the code read. Post back the code.
