  1. Tape it off real good and paint it on the car.
  2. Nnot familiar with diesels at all, I can't offer any advice. Hopefully someone will.
  3. Welcome to the forum. My guess would be even if all the necessary hardware and wiring are there to install, he dealer would still need to program the system to operate.
  4. If there is not an obvious obstruction, I would say take it to the dealer.
  5. Good thing to compare with something else before blaming the Journey!! Poor car gets a bad rap sometimes through no fault of her own.......
  6. I'd take it back and have a service advisor go on a ride with you so you can show him/her the problem.
  7. Hit the nail on the head. Cheap chinese crap.
  8. The width is about 1/2" wider and the diameter about 1/2" larger. I guess you could measure all around the tire and see if adding a 1/2" all around would fit.
  9. That looks good. Which ones did you get? There's a ton on there.
  10. You could also try cleaning the CD player if that's where the problem is. I think they sell kits. Lobitz, to my old ears it does sound great. Does everything I need it to. I don't need the license plate vibrating anymore. Guess I'm an average listener. : )
  11. Did you buy from a dealer or private party? If you have the warranty manual it should state if the power train warranty transfers.
  12. I loved the heated seats in my Dakota. I miss them.
  13. You would be surprised how many don't get that...lol
  14. I agree. Having come from our 09 with the 4cylinder to our 2013 with the V6, I would NEVER get a 4 cylinder (unless it was a diesel). Welcome to the forum and thanks for your service.
  15. Hello and welcome to the forum, eh?
  16. Well yeah, that's the correct way to do it. But just to test the theory, add some fluid and see that makes the light go out. Then you know it was low fluid level causing it. Then when he gets the time, pull the wheels, check the brakes, siphon excess fluid if reseating pistons while replacing worn calipers. He may have enough pad material to go another 5000 or 10000 miles.
  17. I too have just adopted my driving style to pretty much eliminate the clunks and weird shifting at part throttle..
  18. If it is indeed "sealed", (mines not, there is a fluid reservoir with a cap), then it's a dealer only service. You should still be under warranty.
  19. Could be any number of sensors. As stated, your better off going to a dealer and have them look up the part.
