  1. I just consider rock chips as battle scars. I keep a bottle of touch up paint on hand.
  2. As more and more manufacturers start using them (or use them) the aftermarket will catch on. I've found those at O'reilleys.
  3. Yes thats right. Disregard the entire manufacturers car line because you bought a used vehicle and it makes noise.....smh.
  4. Read the owners manual and perform the recommended maintenance at the recommended intervals.
  5. Would have to be some pretty thick tape. and a PIA to put on/take off every time I wanted to take a trip.
  6. While it's doing it, stick your hand out the window and see if you can make it stop.

Welcome to the forum!! You bought a big vehicle with a 4 cylinder engine. It is what it is. Aside from dropping a bigger engine into it, there is practically nothing you can do about it. Bolt ons may gain you a few HP here and there, but nothing that will make a noticable difference.
  9. If it aint where it used to be (above the glove box on our 09) it does not exist. They did away with it. Never worked for us anyway. Just became another glove box (or junk holder box),
  10. If you want OEM, you gotta go Dodge, either from the Dodge dealer, website or junk yard. Wiring harness is probably there, but you would need the lights and a new switch. Dealer would probably have to enable them as well.
  11. No, that is a false statement. The tires are not "cheap, crappy chinese" tires. They are major brand name tires made to the manufacturers specifications to obtain a soft ride, i.e. soft compound and they do wear out quicker than the tires you and I can get from the tire store.
  12. I think the bluetooth is advertised if it has a certain trim level. I did my research before my purchase. I knew that by looking at the steering wheel if it had bluetooth or not. As stated, installation of bluetooth after the fact will cost you.
  13. So you're saying you want it installed but don't want to pay for the installation?
  14. If you want OEM bluetooth with the steering wheel buttons, etc, that would be a dealer install. The dealer should not be telling you they dont know if its going to workk or not. Thats insane. I'd try another dealer.
  15. They corrected the brake problems on the 2012.
  16. FYI, I finally bit the bullet and ordered regular LED's for the overhead lights. They work like a champ. I ordered these from amazon. Can't beat the price and man are these bright. http://www.amazon.com/Cutequeen-White-16-SMD-Festoon-Light/dp/B00B2YE4B4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=undefined&sr=8-1&keywords=Cutequeen+White+42mm%281.72%22%29+16-SMD+12V+Festoon+Dome+Light+LED+Bulbs+211-2+212-2+569+578+-+White+%28pack+of+4%29
  17. Agreed with Lobitz, plenty of existing threads on the subject. This thread is now locked. Change the oil how ever often you like.
  18. You could do that, however, remember, the engine is tuned for a certain air flow into the engine, just by increasing said airflow into the engine will not make a noticable difference as the computer will compensate. You need to make air intake PLUS intake manifold PLUS exhaust modifications to get more air in/more air out, then a custom tune on top of that. Cold air intakes on new cars really don't do much but make a lot of sound.
  19. Agreed, there is nothing wrong with too frequent oil changes other than it is a waste of money. As I have stated numerous times in the other threads on the subject, I change mine at 6 months/6000 miles using full synthetic and a top quality oil filter. The oil light is never on, but I perform the reset anyway so hopefully it restarts the "clock".
  20. Here is one thread with additiona info: http://www.dodgejourneyforum.com/topic/5276-bubble-tail-lights/?hl=taillights
