  1. Yes, if you are worried, check it again in 1000 miles or so.
  2. It does not "read the viscosity", it bases intervals on driving times, distances, etc. Complicated algorithim. Just reset the light and check it again in a 1000 miles or so.
  3. When I put a bedstripe on my Dakota, I could no longer keep rear tires on it.....
  4. That's the deep south, remember?? Heck, even here in NC, 2" is enough to call school off for a week, shut down the government and clean off the shelves at walmart of milk, bread and toilet paper.....
  5. Awesome!! We are coming up on a year with ours. Still loving everything about it.
  6. Nope, dont work for Chrysler. I'm just a happy Chrysler customer. My babies are gorgeous! As I said, good luck with your next purchase.
  7. Push the start button without your foot on the brake. Welcome to the forum.
  8. Please do some searching on the forum for info on oil changes. There are about a half a dozen threads on oil change intervals. Thanks.
  9. Seriously, Your car is 5 years old. Maybe your battery is dead, had it tested? Taken it to a dealer or shop to diagnose? Or just decide, because your car wont start, the entire line of Dodge vehicles is junk? I just love people who join a forum just to bash an ENTIRE model lineup because of one vehicle. You wont get any sympathy here. Good luck with whatever you end up with.
  10. Heater core or radiator? Known weak spots is the plastic coolant expansion bottle. Develops cracks over time. Where is it leaking? Welcome to the forum.
  11. If I could talk to my DJ and it would listen that would be great.....changing the radio channel (yes, I still listen to the radio) requires me to look at the screen.
  12. You can pop them out and add whatever you like aftermarket.
  13. Probably air bags. I have not found anyone selling stiffer rate springs made specifically for the DJ.
  14. I find it interesting that laws are being passed left and right about cell phone use in moving vehicles, yet manufacturers are cramming more and more functions into a touch screen that requires you to take your eyes off the road to make any adjustment to anything. IMO, dials and knobs are much less distracting and easier to operate while driving.
  15. Welcome to the forum!
  16. Depends on the size. You say you have 225/65-17 and want to go to "245". Well, 245 what? If you go 245/65-17, you will increas the height by almost 1" and the width by @1". Here is a handy calculator for figuring out tire sizes: http://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Tire-Size-Calculator Get out a tape measure and start measuring distances from your tire to body/suspension parts at full lock and such. Figure out how much room you have to play with.
  17. This subject has been beat to death in numerous threads. If you are uncomfortable with the wait, change it. If not, wait for the light. Me, I change mine 6000 miles/6 months regardless of the light. Others wait longer.
  18. So.....have you looked or you want someone to look for you?
  19. Dealer is the last resort for me, unless I know it will be covered by warranty. I do all I can myself. If I can't figure out something, I'll pay a local shop that I trust for an hour of labor to diagnose a problem, then I'll fix it myself.
