Had this code in my 2009. Dealer replaced the intake manifold tuning valve sensor under warranty. Moved to the correct section. Welcome to the forum.

It's an open differential, so it can be either one. Moved to the correct section. Welcome to the forum.

Probably a Ford. My son in law is a tech at a ford dealership and we get pretty much free maintenance work, lifetime power train warranty and a heck of a discount on buying vehicles with the ford family deal. I've already bought an F-150 from them. We'll see what happens when the wifes car is paid off or the extended warranty runs out, whichever happens first.
-
Never heard that being a common issue on any vehicle, but it does happen.
-
And there is no aftermarket support.....at least as far as the Journey is concerned.

The 3.6 is already maximized as much as it can be from the factory. You can add more by going FI (expensive) or nitrous (cheaper). Other than that, nothing bolt on will do anything performance wise.

How expensive?

I don't see what you find so offensive in his post. I see nothing in there that would make me think he's trying to make you feel stupid..... -
Welcome aboard grumps!

My idea would be to take it to a shop.

Do you have a flux capacitor or something? Follow the intake tube. Phone a friend, ask a neighbor, drive by an auto parts store and ask. A throttle body is a throttle body, it doesn't matter what engine is in it. It sits right on top of the intake manifold, at the other end of the air cleaner intake tube. I don't know how much clearer that can be.....- 14 replies

I was going to say if you can't find the throttle body, perhaps you should not be working on the engine...lollololol......kidding.... What OhareFred said is about as simple as it gets..Find the air cleaner (hope you know where that is), follow the intake tube to the other end. Thats the throttle body. Or, just ask you tube....- 14 replies

Thank you for reporting in. You sure it has nothing to do with having the vehicle for 8.5 years and never inspection the battery?

Wow. I would run that dealer through the social media wringer

The ac compressor will run by itself even with the ac system turned off to maintain humidity levels inside the cabin.

Could be anything. Let us know what the dealer says. Also provide as much vehicle info as possible so we are not having to ask you questions. Engine size, mileage, maintenance history, Dodge dealer. used car dealer, warranty, etc.
