I think everything is overpriced in Canada....having never been there, I was quite surprised at the prices for normal things like beer and such....I think it was like $12 US for a 6 pack of budlight. where it's like $6-7 here. Even things like Mcdonalds (I know, should have gone to Tim Hortons instead)...almost twice as much as here.

1 MPG difference between the 4 and 6 cylinder??? I wish I could get one of those grills.....

Probably the most accurate statement I have read in a long time concerning these cars. Let the car do its thing. I wonder how many less complaints there would be if everyone adopted this attitude.

My point was too him who said he was giving up on Dodge because of his ONE bad one. I would not go as far as to say "full of unhappy customers and crappy Journeys"...no more than any other automotive forum I belong to. There are good stories and bad. Some people make the bad worse with crappy dealer experiences, but that goes across all manufacturer lines as well.

It is not a safety related issue so no recall. Class action suits against big corporations are a waste of time and resources. Lawyers get rich, thats about it.

14,000 miles, (@22530 km) We had 80,000 miles on our 09 when we traded it in last November (@129,000 km) and the only issues with it were the crappy factory brakes (which I upgraded and never had any more issues), alternator, door wiring recall and an intake runner valve. Pretty dependable vehicle for almost 5 years.

Since the original post was erased, I dont think we will ever know.

Welll I gotta ask: Did you not test drive it before buying? That should have shown you the 4 cylinder is kinda weak. Believe me, we lived with one for 5 years. It was adequate once up to speed, it was just getting up to speed that was the hard part.....

You have posted this issue in three different threads now. If the navi is aftermarket, the warranty is voided. Now, as stated in your other thread, if you have some documentation stating that everything is factory, then you have a leg to stand on. The 4.3 did not come with navigation from the factory. Was is a generic used car dealer or a Dodge dealership?

Sorry to say, if it is aftermarket navi, then they can get out of any warranty claims. And they will. Is it possible to find out who did the aftermarket install? They should be responsible.

Yes. Normally FWD until slippage is detected.

I'll keep watching. I dont want to chance the cheap aftermarket ones without knowing is someone else got a set and they actually work.
