It's a common problem across all Chrysler products. It's a little plastic lever that breaks over time from use. My Sebring has the battery buried behind the wheel well too. Gotta remove the wheel and front fender liner to get to it...lol...I love the top access oil filter. Many of my cars I've installed remote oil filters so I can change them from the top.

Yep, the Journey would stomp my 94 Z28 6-speed...lol....

Spray some silicone or wd40 on the boot. If the noise goes away then it is truly just rubbing against itself.

I have to say mine looks nothing like this either. I'm not ripping up carpet or pulling seats out to look for it, but underneath is still clean and shiny. Mr. Sabater, that looks like a flood vehicle. I'm curious how you got the dealer to "replace the car". You just said, "Hey look, it's rusty" and they said "Yep, here's a new car".....

Don't know right off hand, but your owners manual should tell you how much you can safely haul/tow with your car. There is also the door sticker which lists things like GVWR and such that you also need to pay attention too.

Welcome to the forum. I think you should ask the dealer about the rebates. I don't know myself, maybe someone else does. Don't know about ther "stellar dealer" either. Sounds like a sales gimmick.

For comparison, we paid just over 17k for our 2013 with just at 10k miles. IMO, thats a high price for the year/miles.

My very first car in high school (1980-ish) was a 1969 Dodge Charger.....(I was a huge Dukes of Hazzard fan)....thats when it all started....lol
