  1. Before you jump into doing something that drastic, just try starting it up more often and drive it.
  2. Moved to the correct section. Body panels themselves should interchange. There are some differences in the front area over the years. Would need to cross check part numbers.
  3. Welcome to the forum!
  4. Have you checked it to see if it's maybe damaged, or out of alignment, obvious issues?
  5. Whats the mileage difference between driving 57 MPH and 60 MPH?
  6. Out of radiator fluid would be my guess.
  7. One of those aftermarket FM bluetooth transmitters that you plug into the accessory outlet will be the cheapest way to do that. Welcome to the forum.
  8. IMO don't think it is necessary, just start it up every now and then, but if you feel the need, Lucas is a good brand.
  9. My Dakota allowed me to move a fuse from one location to another to make the outlet always hot. There is not a provision for that on the DJ. You would have to rewire the outlet(s) if you want them to work differently than they currently do.
  10. Go by what the manual states for 60k service. Not what the dealer tells you, They always will upsell.
  11. AC compressor was around 50k, intake runner valve was around 70k, IIRC.
  12. That plastic is difficult to work with. The amount of cutting and gluing, I don't think it would end up looking very good I suppose it I had money to burn and wanted to buy one and not not care if it ended up being destroyed in the process, sure. But, why? IMO it looks ugly. Whats the purpose?
  13. You dont expect them to work on a vehicle out of warranty for free do you?
  14. Very reliable if maintained. The 2.4 is a tank of an engine. Our 09 had the 2.4. Only issue we had was the AC compressor went bad on it. Covered under warranty and an intake runner valve that was also covered under warranty. That price seems a little high though. You could get a newer one with the V6 for that price around me. Welcome to the forum.
  15. Calculate mileage the old fashioned way. The indicator on the dash is wildly inaccurate for the most part. Get the plugs changed.
  16. Whats the mileage? Plugs need to be changed every 30k. Do you drive it like you stole it? Did it used to get better mileage? Is it fully loaded with passengers/cargo? FWD or AWD?
  17. Check the warranty paperwork to see if its covered.
  18. Link the video so others will have it. Thanks.
