  1. It does! Yes.. just saying water only one side...not under both mufflers.
  2. Oh crap, my bad. I got confused. I think I meant a lift kit as I read where someone asked once about lifting their Journey and there was no lift kits to be found. Thanks for the correction.
  3. Ah, have not thought about the muffler drains.....al;though it only does it on one side of the car (drivers side). I'll have to get under there and look. Thanks all for the advise.
  4. Yes, our 09 Journey had this problem. Got it fixed under warranty. Seems to be a common problem for the 2.4L across product lines.
  5. Not the ATC, but I did read in the owners manual that the compressor may cycle with the system off to keep moisture levels down. I just figured it would be for the front only if I have the back HVAC turned completely off. Kinda bugs me that I can't manually turn off the ac compressor. My son had a car like that. The ac compressor ran for every position but floor. Bugged the crap out of me. I installed a switch to manually shut the compressor off until I wanted it on. Not going to do that to the DJ but you get my point. That to me is undue strain on the engine which costs fuel economy to have it running all the time,
  6. So, we've had our 2013 DJ for a couple weeks. One thing I notice is there is always a small puddle of water under the rear of the vehicle after it has been parked. Clear water, must likely coming from the condensation drain, my guess, from the rear AC system. Problem here is, we are not running the rear AC. Have not had use for AC since we bought it. Does the compressor run on its own? We have the manual control system and I've actually turned the rear climate control off from the HVAC screen, but still a puddle every day. Thoughts?
  7. Same issue with using my iphone with the USB. Has trouble connecting, wont charge, etc. Known good cable. It's an iphone 4S. Maybe not advanced enough....lol
  8. The mat is sufficient for the purpose we use it for. It is not the exact size, maybe a 1/2" gap all around and it is thin and light. Wewant it mostly for when we have the dog back there it will help at least contain the dog hair (white dog/black carpet dont mix well). I looked at weathertech splash guards, but I'm a cheapster. I found these on ebay for $46 for the set of 4. Probably Chinese knockoffs, the directions were in German though and from what I could tell from the instructions, they were for a BMW. Yes, I installed them myself. Did not have to drill in any sheetmetal, just the plastic fender liner. I bought some plastic pins like that hold the plastic pieces on the underside of cars and drilled a few holes and pushed the pins in.
  9. Did they get the filter box cover back on tight? (if they checked it duting a "tune up") You could be hearing intake noise if it only does it under acceleration. Similar to adding a CAI to a vehicle. Makes the intake louder under acceleration. Just another thing to check.
  10. They do not exist. Your best bet is to get the springs cut down maybe. Or a custom bagged set-up.
  11. Welcome to the forum! I wish they offered the diesel version here in the states.
  12. I'm curious to see what the result is. We have the smaller sceen as well and I would love to get the bigger one.
  13. Picked up some more bling....cargo liner, floor mats and splash guards. Only got the rears mounted so far.

    Welcome to the forum!
  15. Brakes......such a touchy subject with Journeys.....The first few years, I admit, they were complete junk. Our 09 had rotors/pads replaced twice by the dealer before 20k miles. Third time we started getting pulsations I replaced them myself with aftermarket parts. Never had another issue for 60k more miles (when we traded her in). The brakes on our 2013 are massive. Rotors, calipers and pads twice as big it seems. I aplaud Dodge (or Fiat, lol) for listening and at least trying to address the problem by providing bigger hardware. Our 13 only has 11k on it now. I am curious to see how they last. I have owned several Dodge vehicles in the past and what I have found is if you keep replacinf OEM parts with OEM parts, you will continue to have problems. If it is something that is not covered by warranty, I will replace it myself. You can get pads with a "life of the vehicle" warranty at many auto parts stores.....same for alternators, AC compressors, wheel brake cylinders, etc...Dodge, and other vehicle manufacturers make some great products, but some parts are "designed to fail"....that keeps the service departments in business. Go with aftermarket quality parts whenever possible.
  16. As stated, plastidip is the way to go if you dont want to spend hundreds. If you decide you dont like it, just peel it off.
  17. What does it sound like? Tire noise and engine noise should sound completely different, however I concur it is more likely your tires. Snow tires are loud.
  18. I think I would get that to the dealr asap and see what they think.
  19. Yeah, but how many liters in a gallo? Or is it how many gallons in a liter??
  20. Well, you know what they say, you can't believe everything on the internet.....
  21. You people and your "KM's".....remember us backwards American's don't know squat about the metric system..... I could never wait for 10,000 MILES before changing oil in a vehicle. I'm old school 3 month/3000 miles. I will, however, be changing at 6 months/5,000 MILE interval when I do the first oil change and start using full synthetic.
  22. Is the leak at the front or rear passenger side tire? If from the front, have you opened the hood to look for the source of the leak, or looked under the vehicle to try and pin point the leak? Is the clunk from the front or rear? Clunking going over bumps is normally indicative of suspension components. Tie rods, ball joints, CV axles, sway bar end links and bushings. Put your car on some ramps and get undernweath for an inspection of your suspension. If you don't have the equipment and/or knowledge, take it to a trusted auto repair faciliuty and have them inspect the vehicle for you.
  23. I noticed that too. Maybe they needed more ad space....
