2.4 engine rattle while cruising in overdrive?
jkeaton replied to ashford1989's topic in Engine & Transmission
Could be pinging? (Detonation) Have you replaced the plugs? Every 30k miles for the 2.4. -
Welcome to the forum. Check out the various sections. Probably find the answer to your problem.
-
That’s a ton of money. What has been done? As stated though, it’s not the cars fault he hit a curb.
-
Sounds like a TIPM going bad.
-
Could break that section out so it’s more visible. It’s kinda buried IMO. I don’t have much input on the layout of the forum.
-
We have a DIY section. Something different? https://www.dodgejourneyforum.com/forum/60-maintenance-dyi/
-
Correct. 3.5 had a belt. 3.6 is a chain.

If you have searched YouTube and can’t find any, then no. Can’t imagine it would be that terribly difficult if you have the proper tools. Remove whatever you have to to drop the oil pan.

2010 dodge journey inside fuse panel
jkeaton replied to Coopsrhere's topic in Electrical, Battery & Charging
Try searching your owners manual. Lol -
Pull everything back off and make sure nothing is rubbing. If it’s definitely coming from the front, that’s where to start looking at things.
-
Use a piece of cardboard.
-
Cheap LEDs will do that.
-
I would stay away from them in the future.
-
You could pull the fuse for the radio.
-
Turn off the Bluetooth and see if the problem goes away
-
Use a pair of channel locks. Pretty easy solution.

Factory fog light mounting screws ?
jkeaton replied to Futbol90x's topic in Accessories, Modifications
Contact the seller and ask them to supply the necessary hardware. -
I’m sure you just joined to vent, but good luck with your next Ford.
-
Next would be to check the connector and wiring. Converter could also be going bad.

Go to superbrightleds and enter your vehicle info. It will list the bulb sizes.
