  1. Not sure how you can be unaware of a coolant leak...Periodic inspections of your vehicles systems are in order to alleviate your concerns.
  2. Welcome. Do you need a support group recommendation for your transition?
  3. As stated, if the indicator is in the safe zone, it is fine. If it gets to "H" and/or you start hearing the chime, it's too hot.
  4. It says not to exceed 150 lbs. Does not specify dynamic or static, so I would assume it applies to any condition. Over 150 lbs regardless if standing still or driving down the road will cause the roof to bend from excess weight. You are, of course, free to experiment.
  5. Took mine in for the recall and ended up trading it in instead...
  6. From the owners manual: (always a good reference) "The roof rack cross rails and side rails are designed to carry cargo weight. The load must not exceed 150 lbs (68 kg), and it should be distributed uniformly over the cross rails. In addition, the roof rack does not increase the total load carrying capacity of the vehicle. Be sure the total load of cargo inside the vehicle plus that on the roof rack does not exceed the maximum vehicle load capacity." "To avoid damage to the roof rack and vehicle, do not exceed the maximum roof rack load capacity of 150 lbs (68 kg)."
  7. Look under the back end. See any axles going to the rear wheels?
  8. Do the instructions for the scanner tell you to put the vehicle in run mode? Mine doesn’t. Just plug it in and it works.
  9. What "tab"? Glad you got it fixed.
  10. Yep. Adding LED's will make them full bright all the time as the turn on voltage for LED's is much lower than incandescent. But I also agree that it is not recommended. What makes you think they are not bright enough for their purpose?
  11. Sorry to hear. Report back the solution once you figure it out.
  12. Here’s information on how to address that code. Pretty much all of them involve specialized equipment so if you can afford to take it to a shop, you’ll have to live with it unless you can do this stuff yourself. https://www.obd-codes.com/p0496
  13. As long as it’s in the safe zone you’re fine.
  14. So what do you want from us? What is the exact code? If there is a part that needs to be replaced, you will have to buy it.....which costs money....if you can't afford to buy the part, there is nothing else to do, we can't fix it for you. Put a piece of black tape over the light so you dont have to look at it....
  15. Go to a hardware store and look for some plastic plugs that fit the hole.
  16. You already have a thread going on this. No need to start another.
  17. Get the code read instead of guessing what it might be.
  18. Yes, pretty simple. Fix the problem and clear the code with a code reader.
