  1. Move to the correct section. Are you asking a question or making a statement? Do you need assistance? A little punctuation goes a long way.....
  2. No clue. That’s up to the wife. Another 7 passenger vehicle I assume. Not a minivan. Our choices are limited. Might be stepping into an enclave
  3. Don’t know. All we can do is guess. That was mine.
  4. Nothing but praise for mine. Unfortunately it will be time to trade soon. Been a good run with 2 of these but time for something different.
  5. You may be the first. Be sure to report back.
  6. Battery is in front of the driver side wheelwell. Check your owners manual.
  7. Who is the "certified mechanic"? What sort of "certification"?
  8. There’s a recently released recall on cruise controls for dodge vehicles. Check with your dealer before hacking up factory wiring.
  9. First vehicle I’ve ever owned where I had to replace tires (@42000 miles) before brake pads. One thing they got right was addressing the poor brake performance on the earlier models. Not sure if you are making a complaint or not, but if you feel they should be replaced, replace them. Otherwise, enjoy the fact that your pads are still good at whatever mileage you are at and motor on.
  10. The 3.6 makes all kinds of start up noises. Partly because of plastic cover in the timing chain. Does it more in colder weather. Perfectly normal.
  11. Check with your dealer for the best deals. Deals are different everywhere. I agree though, going from a BMW to a Journey you are setting yourself up for disappointment.
  12. Oh, didn't know you were in Canada.....that explains it, eh? lol....you might get lucky, but I've read bad things about anything other than copper in the 2.4L.
  13. Seriously you couldn't find the copper ones? They sell them at walmart....lmao.
  14. Bad choice of replacement plugs. Good luck.
  15. Should have stuck with OEM copper core. These engines do not like anything else. Good luck. May run fine for awhile, but you will probably notice mileage changes, etc.
  16. Need to know what the code is. The car is literally telling you whats wrong.
  17. Mine makes all sorts of weird sounds on start up. Always has. If it concerns you that much, get a second opinion and then press the dealership to make whatever repair is deemed necessary (assuming you have some sort of written service contract).
  18. You will void your warranty knowingly using a product designed for a GM vehicle in a FCA vehicle.
  19. 2.4L is about as simple as you can get. Don't overthink it. Took me maybe 30 mins from start to finish. That's including beer breaks.
