  1. Glad you got it running again. And you learned something too, we hope. Pay it forward.
  2. jkeaton

    Hydrosilex

    Never heard of it.
  3. How do you know the battery is good? Have you had it tested? Have you tried to jump start as suggested? Just because everything turns on does not mean the battery has enough juice to turn the engine over. What you describe sounds exactly like a bad battery.
  4. Did you see them before you took it to the body shop? What was it in the body shop for? Need more information. Maybe find another Journey and look at the same area.
  5. That's typical. The rest is inside the engine, heater core, etc.
  6. Holy thread resurrection batman.....
  7. Move to the correct section. Are you asking a question or making a statement? Do you need assistance? A little punctuation goes a long way.....
  8. No clue. That’s up to the wife. Another 7 passenger vehicle I assume. Not a minivan. Our choices are limited. Might be stepping into an enclave
  9. Don’t know. All we can do is guess. That was mine.
  10. Nothing but praise for mine. Unfortunately it will be time to trade soon. Been a good run with 2 of these but time for something different.
  11. You may be the first. Be sure to report back.
  12. Battery is in front of the driver side wheelwell. Check your owners manual.
  13. Who is the "certified mechanic"? What sort of "certification"?
  14. There’s a recently released recall on cruise controls for dodge vehicles. Check with your dealer before hacking up factory wiring.
  15. First vehicle I’ve ever owned where I had to replace tires (@42000 miles) before brake pads. One thing they got right was addressing the poor brake performance on the earlier models. Not sure if you are making a complaint or not, but if you feel they should be replaced, replace them. Otherwise, enjoy the fact that your pads are still good at whatever mileage you are at and motor on.
  16. The 3.6 makes all kinds of start up noises. Partly because of plastic cover in the timing chain. Does it more in colder weather. Perfectly normal.
  17. Check with your dealer for the best deals. Deals are different everywhere. I agree though, going from a BMW to a Journey you are setting yourself up for disappointment.
  18. Oh, didn't know you were in Canada.....that explains it, eh? lol....you might get lucky, but I've read bad things about anything other than copper in the 2.4L.
  19. Seriously you couldn't find the copper ones? They sell them at walmart....lmao.
