  1. From what I've read, most say to clear the code and see if it comes back. If it does, then you start throwing parts at it....
  2. I'll stick with amazon and 2 day delivery...lol
  3. LOLOL.....I have not yet tried (lack of trust maybe?) that site yet. Maybe it's the really bad Chinese to English translations....
  4. All those repairs and yet you still bought another FCA vehicle? Hehehehehe
  5. V6's dont require spark plug changes until @100k, IIRC. Different plug from the 2.4L.
  6. I want to see what copper core spark plugs look like after 120k miles.....Must have about a 1/2" gap by now....lol
  7. As sated in your duplicate thread, owners manual is what you should be following. Your plugs are a must. Copper core plugs are not designed to last past 30k. I'm surprised it's still running...lol. This thread is closed since your other one has multiple responses. Welcome to the forum. We like to have fun around here, as well as being really good at stating the obvious.
  8. It did on our 09. Have not used it yet on the 2013. It's nice to know it's there though if I do need it.
  9. Everyone has this issue. Dealers first option is sway bar bushings. That won't fix it and you'll end up taking it back. Force their hand. Replace the strut mounts
  10. Yep. Gotta get it to the dealer or a reputable repair shop to find out exactly what has been damaged. Pretty much impossible to diagnose over the Internet.
  11. Much easier for me to open the hood and turn a wrench than it is to try and contortion myself in order to see which fuse needs to come out from under the glove box. But, to each his own.
  12. If you are purchasing froma dealer, you could ask them. There is other stuff involved. Not sure about the journey but when my son bought his 2016 Challenger, the dealer wanted $800 to install remote start.
  13. Who towed it? They should be responsible for damage caused by towing it the wrong way.
  14. Pay someone to do it. Wiring and the canbus used these days makes it near impossible to install these things without messing something else up.
  15. ok, why? If the Charger is the same year 3.5, don't see why it wouldn't fit other than the fact that the Journey is transverse mounted. Visually look to see if there are noticeable differences. As for causing problems? No idea. Try it and see.
  16. Stick with middle of the road rotors and pads from your local parts store. No need to go all exotic on a Journey...lol. Our 09 went through 2 sets of factory rotors within the first 20,000 miles. I replaced them myself after the second set warped with some wagner rotors from Oreillys. Those were still good at 80,000 miles when we traded it in on our 2013 DJ. Since your vehicle is almost 10 years old and is the 3.5L, I would be catching up on all the required maintenance before diving into modifications. 3.5L has a timing belt that requires replacement at defined intervals (100k IIRC). You don't mention mileage, so it would be best to check the maintenance schedule and if you don't know that something has been done per the schedule, do it. No sense spending all your money on modifications only to have the timing belt snap and ruin the engine. Timing belt, spark plugs, transmission fluid/filter, coolant, air filter, PCV valve, plus normal maintenance items like oil and filter change, etc.
  17. Do you have an owners manual? If not, there is a link to a free download in the Welcome section. The battery is located in front of the drivers side front tire. There are remote connections in the engine compartment so you can disconnect from there.
  18. Plastidip the wheel covers, or just look online for black wheel covers and find what you like. There are some grill inserts available on ebay, but alot of people plastidip the grills as well. Hop on ebay and search away.
  19. Also try disconnecting the battery for 15-20 minutes to reset everything.
