  1. It did on our 09. Have not used it yet on the 2013. It's nice to know it's there though if I do need it.
  2. Everyone has this issue. Dealers first option is sway bar bushings. That won't fix it and you'll end up taking it back. Force their hand. Replace the strut mounts
  3. Yep. Gotta get it to the dealer or a reputable repair shop to find out exactly what has been damaged. Pretty much impossible to diagnose over the Internet.
  4. Much easier for me to open the hood and turn a wrench than it is to try and contortion myself in order to see which fuse needs to come out from under the glove box. But, to each his own.
  5. If you are purchasing froma dealer, you could ask them. There is other stuff involved. Not sure about the journey but when my son bought his 2016 Challenger, the dealer wanted $800 to install remote start.
  6. Who towed it? They should be responsible for damage caused by towing it the wrong way.
  7. Pay someone to do it. Wiring and the canbus used these days makes it near impossible to install these things without messing something else up.
  8. ok, why? If the Charger is the same year 3.5, don't see why it wouldn't fit other than the fact that the Journey is transverse mounted. Visually look to see if there are noticeable differences. As for causing problems? No idea. Try it and see.
  9. Stick with middle of the road rotors and pads from your local parts store. No need to go all exotic on a Journey...lol. Our 09 went through 2 sets of factory rotors within the first 20,000 miles. I replaced them myself after the second set warped with some wagner rotors from Oreillys. Those were still good at 80,000 miles when we traded it in on our 2013 DJ. Since your vehicle is almost 10 years old and is the 3.5L, I would be catching up on all the required maintenance before diving into modifications. 3.5L has a timing belt that requires replacement at defined intervals (100k IIRC). You don't mention mileage, so it would be best to check the maintenance schedule and if you don't know that something has been done per the schedule, do it. No sense spending all your money on modifications only to have the timing belt snap and ruin the engine. Timing belt, spark plugs, transmission fluid/filter, coolant, air filter, PCV valve, plus normal maintenance items like oil and filter change, etc.
  10. Do you have an owners manual? If not, there is a link to a free download in the Welcome section. The battery is located in front of the drivers side front tire. There are remote connections in the engine compartment so you can disconnect from there.
  11. Plastidip the wheel covers, or just look online for black wheel covers and find what you like. There are some grill inserts available on ebay, but alot of people plastidip the grills as well. Hop on ebay and search away.
  12. Also try disconnecting the battery for 15-20 minutes to reset everything.
  13. It's probably the strut bushings....common complaint. Search this section. There's a TSB for certain years.
  14. Well it does have to flex. I don't know if there is a hard and fast rule about how much it is allowed to flex, but with enough leverage from a pry bar, I'm sure you can get it to flex a whole bunch. Are you having issues?
  15. 2010 has the 3.5 which uses a timing belt (costly required periodic maintenance) versus timing chain on the 3.6. Also undersized brakes. Not knocking the earlier models (we had an 09 for 4 years before trading on our 2013) But, IMHO, for a couple to a few thousand more you can get a later model (2012 and up) which don't have these known issues.
  16. The DRL's are your high beams operating at a lower voltage. If your high beams work, your DRL's should work. Vehicle has to be in drive for them to come on.
  17. Thats a good place to start. It's not hard to do if you are the kind of person that can look at something long enough to determine a plan of action....
