  1. Need a dealer or competent shop to diagnose.
  2. How do you know it is not the battery? The symptoms you describe are typical of a dead battery. Brake pedal will be stiff with the engine off as there is no vacuum being applied to the brake booster.
  3. 8 years into the same design you'd think they would have worked out all "unadvertised features" by this time.....
  4. It's like that in a lot of states. Mine included (NC)
  5. Glad to hear. Be sure you maintain your vehicles according to the maintenance schedules in the owners manual.
  6. Well, if the engine is toast, then you need a new engine. Nothing we can do here to help with that. How many miles are on it? Did you run it out of oil or coolant? Did they say what caused it? You are definitely outside your warranty period. Either get a replacement engine, rebuild the one you have (if possible) or sell it for scrap and buy another car.
  7. When they redesigned the grill. You could google Journey models over the years and figure out when it was changed. Or just ask your neighbor. Lol
  8. All that does is make the computer think you are pressing the pedal more than you are. Which can be done by pressing the pedal harder. Snake oil.
  9. You can add fog lights. Lights, housings, switch and dealer to turn them on (enable them). IIRC
  10. The fueling issue could also be operator error. Nothing to do with the vehicle.
  11. They all break off. I reattached mine with a self tapping screw. If you do get it replaced under warranty, it will just break again eventually.
  12. No that is a separate issue.
  13. Hope you purchased an extended warranty. Electrical gremlins can be expensive to track down.
  14. Hope you don't complain when other stuff gets stolen then....
  15. One of those things you just have to dig into and figure it out. Make a DIY for it. You will be the first.
  16. Link to the product you are inquiring about?
  17. Dealer. And, no. Oil caps are not highly sought after items....lol
  18. I dont think any newer vehicles come with under hood lights. Those went the way of 3 month/3000 mile oil changes. There is very little, if any, usefulness for such a thing they way they cover everything up on engines these days with "beauty covers". I keep a flashlight in the vehicle should I ever need to open the hood on a dark street for some reason.
  19. May or may not pertain to this particular post, but it is always helpful if you State the year and engine size.
  20. Depending on what engine you have, the alternator replacement can be easy or challenging. I suggest you take a look at it and see if it is something you can do yourself. You only need basic tools.
  21. First time for everything. Good luck and report back what you find out.
