  1. I would say, yes. The dealer will take the most time consuming, difficult road in order to charge you more money. The dealer is not the be all, end all when it comes to vehicle repairs. There are plenty of do-it-yourselfers who figure out how to do things on their own without taking the dealers word as gospel.
  2. Man those new Chrysler Pacificas look pretty cool.
  3. Do you have an aversion to GM? The Buick Enclave/GMC Acadia/Chevy Traverse are all capable 3 row seating AWD vehicles. We love our Enclave.
  4. How are you verifying the seats? Could be one is getting worn out, broken heating elements since the drivers seat gets way more use than the passenger seat. They sell replacement heating elements at the dealer. Requires removing the seat coverings. Probably best the dealer does it if you are not that mechanically inclined. Same for the defrost issues. Sounds like blend door issues which are located in the HVAC ducting behind/under the dash and in the roof.
  5. Since no one has chimed in yet, I will offer that you can look at your emblem and see if it is part of the grill or is held on by pins/clips or nuts on the back side or double sided tape. Should be pretty easy to tell by looking at it if it is part of the grill or attached to the grill.
  6. Moved to the correct section. Something moving that's not supposed to? Transmission mounts? Motor mounts?
  7. Same here. I will use my old truck, but not the DJ. You are absolutely correct. Too many computer modules that can be easily damaged by spikes.
  8. Get the code read. It’s telling you what’s wrong. We can’t.
  9. Check the maintenance DYI section. There may be a link in there somewhere. I know I linked you tube video on here somewhere.
  10. Never had any issues with my heat. Guess I’m one of the lucky few.
  11. Like stated above, could be anything. Excess moisture in the fuel freezing, etc.
  12. Moved to the correct section. Glad you got it fixed. I was going to suggest checking the fuses. That fuse bos is indeed a pain to get to. Welcome to the forum.
  13. I would use your warranty and make the dealer fix the known issues. Hardly qualifies as a lemon with those minor issues.
  14. Are you verifying the compressor is running?
  15. Happy to say Merry Christmas!,,
