  1. I just go with the cheapest tire with the best tread life (and ones on special, like BOGO, or buy a set of 4 and get a $100 prepaid visa card) . After our Kuhmo's wore out at @45,000 miles, we replaced with Cooper Discoverer. Discount tire gave us a $100 gift card, so it worked out to @$500 mounted and lifetime rotation/balance.
  2. Hope you didn't pay too much for a 2009 Journey....at any rate, could be a caliper dragging or a tire rubbing somewhere that you don't see. Pull the wheels off and have a better look. Trans shifting could be anything. Did you get a warranty?
  3. Good luck with your next vehicle! Thanks for being a contributing member of the forum.
  4. My suggestion would be to take it back to whoever worked on it and make them fix it. You paid for a repair that was not performed satisfactorily.
  5. Crap, you are correct. I keep forgetting about that.
  6. If you can time it, open the hood and try to isolate where it's coming from.
  7. HVAC system blend door actuator issue most likely. It’s a common problem.
  8. Probably some actuator resetting itself. I wouldn’t worry about it.
  9. Oil cooler won’t affect the heat.
  10. I think that those who has experienced the issue just figure out how to fix it themselves rather than replace the part with the same part that will break again.
  11. They all break. Mine broke, I just used a self tapping screw to reattach it.

    Goodbye DJ!!

    Thank photobucket for that.
  13. More expensive ones. You get what you pay for.
  14. Yes. Why wouldn’t they be?
  15. Glad you got it figured out. How I handled ungrateful kids? Stopped doing everything for them......
  16. Be sure to use OEM (from dealer) gas cap only. Aftermarket won't seal good.
  17. Same thing you just told us. And be prepared to hear "it's normal". Mines been doing it for almost 80,000 miles now. Still runs like a top.
  18. I don't have a pic from inside the car. yes, stock housings.
