  1. Can't please everybody.
  2. Have you read the posts in this thread? Several causes and possible solutions are mentioned.
  3. You're welcome then.
  4. Sorry for your troubles.
  5. I'll beat Bram to the punch....OEM FCA warranty. (Even though I've had ZERO issues with my aftermarket warranty)
  6. Pre 2012 models had undersized brakes. Don't know what year yours is, but those models were known for premature brake issues. Things do happen though. Save yourself a bunch of money and replace them yourself with quality aftermarket parts. It's extremely easy to replace the rotors on these cars.
  7. You could try sending a PM to the member, maybe they would get an email notification that way.
  8. Pretty standard. If it "didn't seem to fit", then you need to find the correct press that does fit.
  9. Thank goodness for warranties. $800 for an alternator replacement. Absurd.
  10. The alternator on our 09 went out at about 60,000. It didn't actually quit working, just started making a loud whining noise (probably bearings going out). Replaced under extended warranty luckily since the replacement was going to cost over $400. As Fred says, things break.
  11. Kinda like asking what's the best oil or tires...everyone will have their own opinion. I use Croftgate products. They work great IMO. https://www.croftgateusa.com/ Clay bar is a pain in the a$$ to use. It takes awhile. I only use one when I can run my hand over the paint and feel roughness.
  12. Maybe you will get lucky.... https://montreal.craigslist.ca/i/personals?category=cas
  13. Sorry, you "noticed" your OBD system is not ready? What are you trying to do? How did you determine this? Has the vehicle been driven long enough and through the required drive cycles to set the readiness monitors to true? Provide some background so we can better understand your situation.
  14. Nope. Been discussed before. Not to say you couldn't mount it on the roof or fab up a spare tire carrier attached to the lift gate. But, no. It won't fit in the location of the current limited use spare. Have you looked at where it is currently mounted?
  15. That is going to be tough then. You can buy all the parts you would need. Bezels, fog light housings, switch, etc. and maybe install them yourself, but like a lot of things, the dealer may have to enable them. Check on ebay. I've never seen an OEM "kit" that has everything factory in it. There are aftermarket kits but require a separate switch and wiring. You would have to check your warranty conditions to see what would impact the warranty.
  16. Yes. The dealer can supply you everything you need to install OEM fog lights.
  17. Not really sure. I'm still trying to get used to this (yet again) update.....every time I finally get comfortable with a format, they change it again.....
  18. That would have been my immediate reaction LOL....
