  1. How high is the idle? Perhaps an issue with the TPS if there are no vacuum leaks.
  2. Who fixed it after the crash? If it was a body shop, there should be paperwork saying what work was done. if the owner just put it bak togeter, I would be very skeptical.
  3. Fairly simple proceddure regardless of year. Unclip the clips, lift the top off and replace the filter.
  4. Stop by your local parts store. They will be able to tell you.

    12V charging port

Wouldn't it be easier to just stick one if these into the existing accessory outlet?
  6. Fixed your post so it can be understood. Agreed though, find another mechanic.
  7. There is no tuner specifically for the Journey. No demand.
  8. I would not recommend changing the plugs from copper core on the 2.4. The 2.4 does not like anything else.
  9. Might try updating. https://www.driveuconnect.com/support/software-update.html
  10. Got a picture of what pins you are referring to?
  11. Did it ever do anything or did this just start happening?
  12. You had asked "are you sure this is the correct forum?". Were you referring to the actual "Dodge Journey" forum, or maybe referring to another forum out there, as in a "Dodge Journey Flashlight" forum, or just a section within this forum?
  13. I assume you are referring to the onboard flashlight located in the luggare area? Have you measured voltage at the charging prongs? (not just continuity, actual voltage to charge the light). Did you replace the battery with the correct, rechargable type? Did it ever work? Honestly, I didn't know anyone actually used it.
  14. What are you comparing it to?
  15. Moved to the correct section. Agreed. Not much you can do but go through the suspension and replace worn parts. How long have you had it and what's changed "recently" where you no longer enjoy the ride quality?

    water pumps

Yeah, my Lincoln has an internal water pump. Keep up with oil changes and coolant flushes and they usually last awhile. But when they go, whew. If you don't catch it soon enough, it's bye bye engine.
