  1. I don't think it would be classified as "common". Out of the 40+ vehicles I've owned over the years, there was only one that had a collapsed brake hose.
  2. That happened to another car I had. Pretty easy to overlook.
  3. Welcome aboard.
  4. I have one for the exterior and one for the interior. They work great.
  5. Please polish some shine into those things. That does not look good at all.
  6. Yes, the caliper must be removed. Yes, some idiot at the shop you used forgot to install the caliper mounting bolts.
  7. Or, just re-learn what we had to do back in the day before all this automatic crap. Manually turn your headlights on at night.
  8. Same here. I just learned to adjust how I drive the vehicle to minimize the clunkiness.
  9. Try to read the posts in this thread. The answer is there. No.

    Interesting introduction.
  11. You should contact the dealer and ask them directly.
  12. If it did not smell before and now al the sudden does, as mentioned, something spilled and no one is fessing up or the vent system has issues.
  13. Things fail. You can't compare a Journey to an Infinity.
  14. There is only so much onboard diagnostics can monitor. Lots of things can fail without warning. If you did not purchase a full coverage extended warranty, the standard powertrain warranty would not cover fuel pump failure. Fuel pumps normally fail because they are not constantly submerged in fuel, i.e. constantly running on empty.
  15. Anything could be true. Take it back to the dealer to find out fir sure.
  16. We are all internet mechanics down here.
  17. Assuming a Journey since he asked in this forum but you never know these days. Lol
