  1. Won't do anything power or mileage wise. Will make the intake sound louder. Welcome to the forum.
  2. Wonder what kind of electrical that local shop specializes in?
  3. Good to hear the problem is solved. Thanks for reporting back.
  4. Huh? I was always under the impression that an alternator produces voltage to charge the battery and power the electrical system when the vehicle is running. First I've heard of an alternator needing voltage from the computer to operate correctly.

  6. Correct. LED's are plug and play. No converters required.
  7. Welcome to the forum! Nice introduction. Glad to have you here.
  8. While I'm sure there are skilled enough to "eyeball" the tie rod length, it's always a good idea to have the alignment checked when replacing front end parts. I know firestone does courtesy alignment checks. If the dealer is refusing, go get it checked somewhere so you can go back if it's off and make them do the alignment.
  9. When I went to LED's, I turned my DRL's off so I wouldn't be driving around all day blinding people. There is a certain amount of common sense that needs to be referenced when changing OEM headlight bulbs.
  10. Agreed. Have the cooking system checked out.
  11. That's would be my next move. Put a meter on it and check the alternator output voltage. Should be around 14 volts with the engine running.
  12. Can't help you if you don't provide answers to questions asked.
  13. Great. There is a link for owners manuals on this site. Or just google it. It's a valuable resource to have.
  14. Welcome. Search around the site for info.
  15. Cause you didn't think to check the pressures first? Lol
