    Using LED's with DRL's, the bulb intensity is the same as with the high beams in. It takes much less voltage to "turn on" the LED bulb so it is on normally with the DRL's. so you are essentially driving around with your high beams on all the time.

    Yes. They turn off so the turn signal is visible.

    Probably not without removing the interior panel but tyevthe hatch would need to be open to remove it. Maybe there is some hidden access panel?

    There is a fuse panel up under the glove compartment.

    Yeah I had to work with it awhile. Even lubrucated the o rings. IIRC, they did not fully seat or click as you say but I've not had any issues for a year or so now.
