  3. Welcome to the forum. What do you mean "popped open"? Were you in an accident where the active head restraints deployed? The owners manual describes how to reset the head restraints. There is no recall on the head restraints that I am aware of. You can check the following website for open recalls. http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/owners/SearchSafetyIssues
  4. No, it is not a very bad engine. It is quite dependable if maintained properly.
  5. It will get less over time. It's the fumes and stuff. That "new car smell".
  6. It's normal on new vehicles. It's coming from the plastic dash.
  7. This just start? How long have you owned the vehicle? How many miles? What engine?
  8. I had to wait almost a year for the replacement airbag to come in fir my daughters mustang. It's unfortunate but it does take time.
  9. I installed LED's in my 2013 and do no have this issue. Maybe 2016 is more sensitive to LED's. Are yours canbus compatible?
  10. Oh jeeze. Not again. You know how many people have dropped off here because of the last update?
  11. Normally not a fan of anything over 19", but I gotta admit, that looks pretty bad ass.
  12. There are several threads in this section describing upgrading. http://www.dodgejourneyforum.com/forum/11-audio-infotainment-navigation-mygig-uconnect-etc/
  13. We are on our second. First was an 09 4 cylinder SE. Had it 4 years and @80,000 miles. Had to replace the brakes, alternator (@70k) and an Intake runner valve solenoid. All except the brakes were warrantied. Traded it in on our current 2013 V6 and only had to replace the tires and had the front struts replaced under warranty. Currently at 54,000 miles. Still original brakes. These things have been pretty darn dependable for us.
  14. I know you want to catch up on the maintenance, but the PCV is not on the schedule to check/replace until 100k miles.
  15. Agreed ^^ TMPS won't trigger a CEL. Get the code(s) read and go from there.
  16. Not a Journey, but the same engine. Apparently on the back side of the engine since ours is mounted transverse.
  17. You referring to the actual batter terminal on the battery or the remote terminals in the engine bay? I imagine that if you are referring to the actual battery terminals, any set would do keeping in mind size restrictions for the location of the battery. I've owned mine going on 4 years now and have never even looked at the battery lol.
  18. Either the button is going bad or a loose connection as stated.
