Hi guys...... I can't seem to find the previous thread where advice was given as to why not to purchase Sylvania silverster, and instead go for a Mopar HI R something? Reason that was given is that the Sylvania version is no better than the factory lights on the 2014 CVP??? I want the cheapest option possible for brighter lights to be used for Winter driving. I am in Canada Thanks

Hello folks.....update to this car Canadian Value Package - Had another driver go into the side of me last December. I haven't fixed the driver side (mid way / bottom part) door yet For Winter Tires......what size options do I have to replace the tires in the pics for Winter driving? 17" are expensive and I don't want to spend a lot of money as I am on a budget. - If I was to buy just two for now, where should the 2 be installed? Thanks

Hello folks...long time no speak. Life got in the way, an work has been busy. Now that Winter is nearly here, I am looking to get snow tires as driving was tricky last year here in the Ontario. My question....since the car came with 17" tires, am I able to go down in size in order to reduce costs? Please advise Thanks

Cheapest option for headlights replacement
cskmom replied to cskmom's topic in Glass, Lighting, Mirrors, Sun Roofs & Wipers
Hello Mate, Thanks for the recommendation. So where is the best place to get this for us Canucks? I'll be looking to change both the Lo and Hi beams....the factory bulbs on the CVP (no fog lights), is bordering on ridiculous and driving from 5pm onwards is just bloody dangerous -
I saw one Trax today....how is the mrs enjoying her car?

Update.....enjoyed the DJ a lot on more camping trips up until the fall.

Enjoyed the bike rack for the first time this past summer

Hello folks, Long time no speak, but as mentioned previously in another post, I was dealing with some issues. Anyway, no that Winter is here, I am finding that driving at night (5pm onwards) is very tricky with the headlight son my canadian value package 2014 DJ. Any suggestions for a cheap option to replace the bulbs to something brighter for now???? Thanks

Not what you were expecting, but it was a funny headline http://www.torontosun.com/2014/09/18/cougar-found-lurking-near-calgary-hospital

Thanks everyone for your kind words. The son loves the DJ, and we have taken it camping in NY state, and gone on road trips. The ex got to keep the Mazda 5 2009 as part of a bargaining for me not paying alimony. Good riddance

Hello all, I haven't be on for a while, but have been enjoying my 2014 DJ purchased back in March. I have been busy closing off a chapter in my life (divorce), and am glad it's all over now, and can move on with my life. The most important thing from the get go for me, was having 50-50 custody of our son, and although the ex made this difficult, I didn't cave to her BS and took her to court over it and got what I wanted. It's fair to say that there is no point for me getting married again in my 40s, if I have any intentions of enjoying retirement and keeping my pension that I narrowly managed to keep, as well as no alimony payment. So this was my summer :-) How was yours guys? LOL

Perfect time of the year to buy winter tires!

Good evening all, Hope everyone had a good summer, and managed to go on road trips with their DJs? Also currently looking at Winter tires at the moment, but if anyone here in Ontario has come across any good deals, please let me know. My Canadian value pkg tire size is 225/65/17 What size tire can I go with in order to raise the height for clearance during Winter? Thanks in advance -
That will be one course of action, but I access the trunk a lot. Thanks for the washer ideas though
