Amen to that......I refuse to pay to watch TV now. It was inflicted on us in the UK to have a TV licence every year just to own a TV, and on top of that you have to suc=bscribe to cable. I have not paid for TV since moving here in 2000...I just use OTA antenna to pick up stations from Ontario, Buffalo and Syracuse...all in HD

Ordered 2014
cskmom replied to hockey_puck's topic in Buying, Leasing, Ordering & Competing Products
Congrats on the order....For our US cousins, Winnipeg is aka Winterpeg for obvious reasons. Snow tyres will be a good choice. In Quebec it's mandatory to have them -
Hmmmm...so what is/are my other options? I am trying to avoid the blood sucking leech dealer.... Don't say just drive like that :-)

Canadians (Ontario)....Anywhere to get after market mats???
cskmom replied to cskmom's topic in Accessories, Modifications
As a temporary fix....I got the attached mats yesterday from Walmart for $24. They are industrial looking and it comes with a runner for the 2nd row, and two front mats. -
Valid question.....I think the OP is missing a picture that indicates this? Before has 3, and after has 2

What "center cap"? Just realised that if you look at the front bumper, you can see the reflection of my legs taking the pictures.

Thanks everyone...I do hope the weather is nice too for Saturday, as I plan to take it for it's first road trip with my son to Syracuse. Looking at the front....is it possible to add FOG LIGHTS to the car, what brand and where from? The dealer is already charging me ridiculous prices for stuff I'll be getting my rear hitch from the couple of places recommended so far. The one place delivers to Canada, and if I find cheaper, I can always get a free shipping to my US shipping address at the closest border town

hid lights installed pic
cskmom replied to smarshall2013's topic in Glass, Lighting, Mirrors, Sun Roofs & Wipers
Hello....So what is the alternative then i.e. the "something else" mentione din your post? I concur with the HID concerns...you don't want all that to happen when you are in dire need of lights being on pronto -
Will 2013 headlamp fit 2014?
cskmom replied to Totemus's topic in Glass, Lighting, Mirrors, Sun Roofs & Wipers
Just to throw a part of a popular quote, I say "why not"? LOL You know what happened to the cat eh? -
So as promised in another thread, here is a sneak peek of the DJ I'll be picking up on Saturday. I stopped at the dealership today on my way home from work in this crazy snow storm we are having, to go over some paperwork and familiarity with the car Enjoy the pics...mud flaps are on, hood bug deflector, and cargo mat. Tint job on Saturday

It was my Birthday last week, and I will be picking up the 2014 Dodge Journey CANADIAN VALUE PACKAGE / SE recently purchased this coming Saturday.....I have never owned a car off the ground before, and my current car is a 2006 hatchback bought brand new with almost 200k on the clock. (the driver side windows does go down, and I can't see which station am choosing but can play cds and listen to radio). I ordered the following to be put on: Cargo mat, mud flaps and hood bug deflector. Mod after pick (same day): Window tints....15% all at the back, 20 in front. Interior lights changed to Blue LEDs Later Mods: Hitch, roof racks (not sure which one yet...but will like cheap budget ones) I am glad I didn't pull the trigger on the Honda Civic I was close to signing on, sales guy was very pushy. I have always wanted a "bigger" car due to the fact that I grew up in Europe with "smaller" cars and roads. I looked around at the Hyundai, Toyota, Nissan etc...but came back to the Journey for practicality sake. My toddler will like it and road trips should be fun. I am sure the US boder agents will appreciate too because now I can roll down my window as opposed to opening the door to give them my NEXUS card :-) Might take it for a spin down to Syracuse over the weekend. ***I'll post pics after Open to suggestions, advice etc from you lot Cheers PS: Don't let the username fool ya, am actually a single dad in his 40s. LOL

This might be a better way to go because then you can have access to the trunk by just lowering the hitch attachment http://www.etrailer.com/partlist/Dodge/Journey/Bike%20Rack
