  1. I believe someone posted something almost identical a day or two ago... His dealer said that the tranny was overfilled... He has not had time to confirm if the issue was fixed or not.
  2. I can't help you with the specifics, but it is definitely possible... There are some add-ons behind the dash that will allow this. Someone else with more info will likely chime in.
  3. Wow... people by you can't drive, eh? Glad everyone is alright and nothing more serious happened. What are you thinking you will move to since this one is likely totaled?
  4. Auto dim?? I think it just dims when you turn the lights on. There are settings in the software for normal mode. It would dim to whatever you have it set at with the interior light dimmer by the headlight switch when the headlights are activated.
  5. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the 2014 DJ? I am specifically interested in the polarity if the rear speakers... Which is positive and negative on the rear driver speaker and rear passenger speaker? Any help is appreciated!
  6. Seems like every time my wife is in the car she uses the damn thing a dozen times... So in my case, it is used OFTEN.
  7. The Avenger (I think) had a common issue with the alternator on the 2.4 (???) just as you describe. Saw some videos on You Tube and the sound was horrendous. Thanks for posting back.
  8. Its so easy to set the time on these radios, why wait? I do mine every time I notice it is off...
  9. The front bumper is different through model years as well, but I believe that the AVP still has the old front end...
  10. Dodge uses a sealant referred to as Permaseal and it is difficult to work with. Unless the instructions you referred to were speaking to this type of sealant, I would disregard the temps and times given. For Permaseal use a temp of 285 degrees (F) and let them sit in the preheated oven for at least 23 minutes. From there, the other instructions are likely right on. With perma seal you may need to occasionally reheat the headlight while you are working with it, as the assembly will come apart much more slowly. Take your time so you don't wreck your headlight. Here is a good video of the process...
  11. Right, but it should shut off no matter what, once the door opens. I like redtomatoman's idea about a possible faulty switch in the door.
  12. Based on the picture she attached, it looks like tethering the top of the car seat to the floor (when in a rear-facing configuration).
  13. I'm thinking Jacob is a he, not a she... Just my observation anyhow.
  14. Put them in the landfill and let people 3 generations from now figure it out since they will still be sitting there.
  15. As stated, there are a couple threads that go into this topic extensively and tell you what you need to do to make it work. Take a look around and if you have any questions after that, ask away. I think you'll find that all the info you need is on the forum. There are some who report issues with the Nav radios and many others who have never had as issue, so it is a call you will have to make. The cost to repair the nav components if they go bad is high...
  16. I have the Husky liners... little cheaper and work the same.
  17. Thanks for thinking about us!!! OP, Have you considered a Honda or maybe a Toyota?? Those things are like gold and they never have issues. Or, maybe keep it simple and get a bicycle...there are a lot less components that could fail on one of those.
  18. I just hate the bright red lens on tail lights. If the DJ had a clear lens I would definitely try and paint the inside rather than the outside, but that isn't the case. IMO the bright red looks cheap. A couple light coats of tint polished to a mirror shine still leaves the lens red, it is just a darker and more appealing shade of red. I had safety in mind when I did mine, not just looks.
  19. Not that I ever expect to see a reply or update on this thread (so many one post wonders lately), but I would take it back to the dealer. If it was happening when I picked up the vehicle I personally would have went right back inside and said fix this. Not sure why you waited...
  20. I believe there was a TSB for this. He said he looked there, but I have no idea where the wires were actually failing in this TSB.
  21. I have used these on a different vehicle and absolutely loved them. The difference was night and day. I would recommend them (and have!).
  22. Mine gets advertised MPGs... I'm sure there are extenuating circumstances for those who aren't.
