You realize that this post was made 4 1/2 years ago, right? -
Question about rear turn signal tailights
Lobitz68 replied to DJfan's topic in Glass, Lighting, Mirrors, Sun Roofs & Wipers
Thanks for the info. I contacted them and I think I am going to switch my turns to the LEDs (including the one on the hatch) and put in a module to run them sequentially. -
You're kind of a douche bag. For someone who doesn't want it to sound like you're bagging on his ride, you sure went out of your way to be a dick. Like you said, not everyone is expected to like each other's taste, but the way you went about it was childish and ridiculous.

Projector Headlights (US sourced)

Certainly a possibility... I'd actually probably be more concerned about the bowls delaminating than actually melting. Either way though, it wouldn't be good. -
Question about rear turn signal tailights
Lobitz68 replied to DJfan's topic in Glass, Lighting, Mirrors, Sun Roofs & Wipers
I don't see anything specific to our vehicle, so I assume you used the DIY module here: http://www.diodedynamics.com/store/catalog/product/view/id/21872/s/tail-as-turn-module-diy/category/1441/ This brings me to my next question. This does not come with a resistor like the vehicle specific modules they make; did you need to install a resistor to get rid of hyperblink? (I assume so, but figured I'd ask anyhow) -

You seem to have a different avatar every day... knock it off, makes it harder to tell who you are. -
Cruise control not working

Sounds reasonable... Get a Honda or a Toyota. They NEVER have problems. -

Now you're just being silly... -
Projector Headlights (US sourced)
Lobitz68 replied to hockey_puck's topic in Glass, Lighting, Mirrors, Sun Roofs & Wipers
All of the Eagle Eyes projectors I have seen are decent... there is a cutoff and very little to no scattered light above the cutoff. They don't tend to have the best throw or width, but keeping the light from shining in oncoming drivers' eyes is a huge benefit to other driver's. Not saying I would do it, but I would recommend this over a "plug and play" HID installation all day every day. -
Was an issue on some of the Avengers trunk lids as well...

While I tend to agree with you, this is at least an accessible mod (cash wise) for those who are uncomfortable with the retrofit process. It HAS to be better than throwing HIDs in a reflector housing regardless of how shitty the cutoff, throw and spread of the projector are. I would assume you could also mod it by throwing a new (quality) projector in quite a bit easier than putting one in the oem housing... -
Question about rear turn signal tailights
Lobitz68 replied to DJfan's topic in Glass, Lighting, Mirrors, Sun Roofs & Wipers
No way in hell you are getting away with not letting us know how you did the mod. Spit it out!!! I wonder if you could do the mod you did and add one of those flashers that have them flash sequentially from the inside out, kind of like you see on a lot of Mustangs. That would interest me a great deal. -
I was speculating when I made that statement, based on my own personal experiences. This is how I have addressed the issue and it works 100% of the time. I never actually use the fob, pushing the button after the door shuts is actually easier than using the inside lock and the fob in my opinion and it doesn't bother me at all (I prefer that locking method). Hope you get it worked out.
-
Right, so when you actually push the lock button, you are still in the car with your keys. Once the door shuts it should scan for the key and realize it is outside the vehicle. If you lock before this occurs, the vehicle thinks the keys are still inside. The lock on the handle (or on the fob) is designed for locking the vehicle from the exterior, the inside locks are for locking when you are remaining in the vehicle... As noted above, wait until the doors are closed. See if that helps.

Good point. I would make absolutely sure that it will hold... just in case.

These instructions still apply. What exactly are you confused about? That may help get you better answers.

My 20's on My 2011 Dodge Journey Crew Experience
Lobitz68 replied to Black Diamond's topic in Wheels & Tires
Looks nice.... I believe that the wheel size designated for the DJ is 40+ offset, so it makes sense that something smaller wouldn't fit. -
Agreed... Mine is Pitch Black as well and has no vinyl. Looks much better IMO.

2011 Journey - Do I give it back or keep it?
Lobitz68 replied to Draver17's topic in Owner Impressions
Yeah, those Hondas and Toyotas are superior vehicles and NEVER have any issues; good call. Maybe your DJ was trying to read your posts and got confused by all of the misspelled words and lack of punctuation? It likely caused it to have a mental breakdown and give up on life.... Or maybe your service department sucks... Mine has been a joy to own. -
2011 dodge journey r/t on/off dash lights while driving
Lobitz68 replied to wearzy's topic in Electrical, Battery & Charging
I would agree that the battery is a likely culprit. It is a bit concerning that your voltage is jumping around so much. Have you double checked all of the alternator connections?- 31 replies

I'd like to see it with the windows up and the camera a little further back... In the meantime, WASH YOUR CAR.
-
I clay bar, polish and wax the entire car every spring anyways, so it isn't much extra effort to do the glass while I am at it... I also spray wax every time I wash it so, once again, not a lot of extra effort involved. I only wash my car, the wife can wash her own damn car.
