  1. I would start by disconnecting the negative battery cable at the jumper post for a while and see if the reset helps.
  2. No, the vehicle doesn't check for the key until the door is closed again. If you step out without closing the door, it will not chime.
  3. That's what I did... cost me a total of $12.
  4. You have to get the brakes from the late 2012 and on model years... If you buy everything, you can do a complete swap and end up with the better brakes on the newer models. There are several posts on the forum about it, but one that goes into depth about the parts needed and the install.
  5. There are a few on here with stripes. Might get lucky searching the gallery...
  6. Sounds like a recipe for swirl marks and dull paint. I like to wash mine, but I don't have the physical limitations that you do. You should consider a full exterior detail once a year to keep the paint looking good.
  7. CD player is so low in the DJ... Is it actually "in view"?
  8. I have one of those too... That is a chamois. The waffle weave towels work even a little better than that if you can imagine.
  9. Radar display eh? Haven't seen that. I use mine for nav too, the voice comes over the speakers and tells me what I need to know while I am streaming over bluetooth. I have a Note 4, so it is much bigger that your iPhone, but I am a big dude, so it doesn't feel uncomfortable in my pocket... In the past I have had window holders that are phone make specific. The phone "plugs" into the holder and charges while on it. Also, placing it on the holder would activate a specific set of apps that you determine are useful when driving. I would be surprised if there isn't something like that available for the iPhone. It may cost a bit more, but it is worth it if you want a quality phone holder.
  10. I can't speak specifically to the "water magnet", but any quality microfiber or waffle weave towel will pull water off quite well...
  11. They may no longer do it this way, but in the past Dodges I have owned the driver's switch drives the others, so if there is something wrong with that one, others may not work. I would suggest taking the door panel(s) off and checking the switch. A dirty switch or a switch that isn't making good contact will act as described. Regardless, I agree that it is likely not a fuse.
  12. My pocket. With the bluetooth connectivity I don't really have a need to have my phone out...
  13. Based on the glare off of the windshield in the first shot I would guess that he did not tint it...
  14. the newer 8.4's on other vehicles have apps like Pandora that are run through the stereo. As bramfrank stated, they are not an option for the Journey (hence why he is asking if he can install it and get said apps).
  15. Agree with other posts... if you hear the pump it is working.
  16. This... You're vehicle doesn't see a load and isn't sending a signal to the speakers.
  17. I don't have the 2.4, but my wife's Avenger does and I would agree 100% with this assessment. That thing is snug if installed properly.
  18. Brake rattle doesn't necessarily mean that they needed to be replaced. There are numerous causes of brake rattle, but if it isn't doing it under braking conditions then I wouldn't be concerned...maybe annoyed though. As far as the smell, I would check that you don't have a caliper sticking or something... You didn't state what your replacement parts were, but usually brakes only smell during hard braking or extended braking when they get really hot. Is you rear wheel hot to the touch after you get done driving?
  19. Eh... She came here to complain. To be fair, I said nothing mean.
  20. Nice job. Curious about how much light output you get on the dark back roads... Post some pics if you can.
