R03/NHTSA 14V-373 Recal

BYE!!! -
You can use a wheel glaze to help protect them too... basically a wax type product for the wheels.

I have a 2014 SXT, not the Crossroad, but it should be mostly the same. Is your wife's commute mostly highway? I would opt for the V6 as the mileage is comparable, but many people on here have the 4 banger and are plenty happy with it. I would get an extended warranty with all of the electronics in vehicles these days, but I would NOT say that these have any kind of terrible record with the electronics. There are some issues with the Nav stereos, but when compared to the number sold, the number of defects isn't really all that alarming. I love my journey...

I try to beat you to responses as much as possible... I know deep down it irritates you. -
Nav screen goes blank

No need to apologize. He was just saying that your will get better responses in your own topic as it won't be cluttered with other post and information not pertinent to your issue. -
I lasted a year...

You'd be surprised how much stuff still gets in there... I thought the same thing and the other day I looked in there and it was filthy. -

Jeffinva posted once 6 months ago, doubt he is actively on the boards to answer your question. You can try disconnecting the negative terminal and see what happens. Use the jump terminal located on the strut tower in the engine bay. The actual battery is in the wheel well and tough to get at. As a side note, do you have any warranty left? If so, my next step would be taking it to the dealer. -
Twist it while pulling up... should be fine.

Freemont 2014 dead battery two times now.

Ummm... okay. Sorry I was so rude. I will try to not offer solutions when asked in the future. My bad... -
Luckily it won't be close enough to your paint to be as noticeable as when you place the can next to the vehicle. Plus, that cap is molded using resins, not the actual paint color, so it probably won't be exact... Post pics when you're done!

Thanks, I appreciate it... No idea which muffler though, eh? Should probably be able to figure it out by the pics. -

I guess I'm not sure what the goal of your post is then... It's VERY unlikely that you have some sporadic draw that occurs once every 6 months. If there is some system draining your battery, it is happening all of the time and it has only killed the battery a couple times due to some contributing factor like extended time parked, or something like that. You are going to have to do a little leg work to figure it out, there isn't going to be some magic post that answers your problem. -

Do you know which Magnaflows they used? Any chance of getting a pic of the undercarriage? -
That was online, they may not have it in stock at the store. I bet they could order it for you though...

If you have an amp meter you can look far a parasitic draw in the vehicle yourself... -
If you don't like it you could always spray the VHT engine enamel in the link right on top of them...

Looks like a pretty damn close match!

Owned by AP Exhaust Companies who now owns the Patent for the Flowmaster 40 Series Muffler... Pretty sure the will sound like a Blowmaster (video's on YouTube support this belief).

True, Chromium IS a metal plating, but it can be put onto another metal or a plastic.

I tend to agree... they look nice though. -
New magnaflow exhaust!!!!

The stock setup is pulling cool air from the front of the vehicle anyways...doubt you'd see any noticeable improvement. I've always used K&N's but you can now get oil-less lifetime filters that do just as good of a job, if not better, as the K&N's. I'm leaning that direction when mine is due (very shortly). -

Sounds pretty damn good. That is without the resonator, correct? -
I've had my door panels off, but didn't really look too closely at the door pins. They look like every other one I've ever seen though, so I would assume that they screw off/on. Sorry, not much help...
