  1. The grill and headlights fit for sure, although you will have a tough time finding black headlights. For those you will most likely need to crack open a pair and paint them... The tail lights are the same shape, but I'm not sure about the mounts. I would guess that they are the same, but maybe you can talk someone into popping one off and snapping a couple pics for you to compare. My biggest concern with the tail lights would be that the newer ones are LED and might have different connections.
  2. Happens in other transmissions as well... Fairly common really, just more noticeable in our DJ's than in most other...
  3. I don't think we will ever hear back. Add her to list of one post wonders!
  4. Sometimes it just takes a second for the FOB to be recognized. I would bet that 100% of the time if you stayed in the vehicle and tried again it would work... This happens to me frequently. As far as the remote start goes, I've got nothing...mine is aftermarket and works perfectly. Are you perhaps out of range? I always use the handle to lock the door as I am walking away, but on the rare occasion where I have used the remote it seems to work fine as well. You could take it in and have the software reflashed, but judging from other people's posted experiences taking it in may be a crap shoot. Is there anything that is common between all of these occurrences that may help find the underlying cause?
  5. Mine is 38 as well and I don't have any updates installed...
  6. This is only an assumption, but I'm thinking that when he drained his oil he ended up having more come out than the manual stated as the fill capacity. Being concerned he went on his naked lady giver and saw our forum with posts relating to his "issue"... Not sure where the discrepancy is though, as my manual states the correct capacity.
  7. My guess is that a ground was disconnected at the body shop and either not tightened at all or not tightened properly.... I would check the connections at the jumper post and each of the grounds.
  8. This should be a very easy diagnosis for a dealer service shop... I agree with jkeaton that you should take it to the dealer and actually show them the issue. I find it hard to believe that they would not notice something like this. When you say the brakes are new, who replaced them and what was done?
  9. Available at the Walmarts in my hood...
  10. Ha! His motor is a "VAG"... Sorry, my intellect doesn't always match my age.
  11. Would be much easier to us an LOC to get audio signals and turn on the amp... Then you are simply using the speaker input + and - rather than hunting for the correct wire in the harness.
  12. I would check the voltage with the vehicle running... Should be a little north of 14V if the alternator is functioning properly.
  13. Palmolive is going to strip the wax and leave your car paint unprotected from the elements... Instead of using 2-in-1 products, buy separate products and use them as directed. Used properly, ANY product will be better than Palmolive...
  14. Not nearly enough info to help... What are the symptoms? A vehicle could "not start" in a multitude of ways.
  15. Normal operation when the vehicle has been sitting for a while. If it bothers you then shift to N first and then to R or D. It is not harming anything and is not a sign of your transmission going out. The remark about the transmission fluid was in reference to the fact that they changed your fluid. If they did not use the Mopar specified ATF+4 fluid it will cause a lot of problems and void your warranty.
  16. I like the Explorer... A bit over-priced though... As with anything, the more you spend, the nicer they are.
  17. Here is a vid on a Porsche for those interested...
  18. I'd still love to see a video, but it looks like a straight forward install and a decent price point...

I use Chrome... Everything works as it always has.
  20. Wouldn't be concerned at all... you are still well within the range. It will go off. Have faith...
  21. Is 10w30 recommended for that engine??? I can't remember the last vehicle I owned that used a 10 weight...
  22. Are you a mad woman with a DJ, or mad women with a DJ? I'm confused... Split personality maybe? Sorry...couldn't help myself.
  23. Huh?? You just posted... Don't understand. Just a link to a you tube video is all that is necessary.
