  1. Speaking of the H&R springs... anyone know if they fit the AWD models? Last I checked they were listed for the FWD model, but I can't imagine much (if anything) is different.
  2. You damn Canadians are always making me pull up my conversion tool... 6 inches for anyone who is wondering. Oh, and I agree...what a dink.
  3. The ebay ones posted above don't list out the specs, but they use a true HID bulb type and one of the projectors appears to be the Infinity Q45 projector. My guess without looking at the specs is that these are actually fairly nice replacements and possibly worth the large price tage as far as components go...
  4. I am not aware of one, but there are a few people on the forum that have access to these things and will likely post the procedure for you. Why are you replacing the radiator?
  5. Thanks for reporting back.
  6. I wouldn't put a whole lot of faith into a lot of these posts... At least not enough to call the AWD system useless. The manual is very clear about how it works and why these things are happening. If you use the system within it's means, it works quite well. As Locosiete stated, it is usually something that occurs when you are driving far too aggressively, or perhaps if you panic and really nail the throttle in slippery conditions. Also, I'm fairly confident that this is the same AWD system that is in the Durango and the Charger (i'm sure someone with more intimate knowledge of the vehicle can verify or deny that).
  7. I haven't noticed this in my AWD, so I can only assume it is due to having traction on one or more of the 4 wheels at any given time. I have noticed it in my wife's avenger though and it can be a bit annoying.
  8. I would think that the springs are a little looser on the touring, and tighter on the R/T...
  9. These are actually HID projectors and not cheap halogen ones... Any projector headlight you are getting for $250 is likely a piece.
  10. This... Take it off while it is running. Damn is it noisy.
  11. it should shut it down if the fob is not in the car. if the fob is IN the car it should stay running... Mine is not the factory starter, but stepping on the brake with the fob in the car locks the doors on mine. with it outside the vehicle it will shut down.
  12. You can download the owners manual on the dodge website if you'd like to get a copy.
  13. Didn't pay attention to where he was... good call. I think the dealers have started using a cold weather replacement tube in these areas though...
  14. I've always used the ATF+4 on my Dodge vehicles...
  15. Yikes! That doesn't sound like fun... Wasn't knocking your option at all; in fact, it may be a really good option. The last time I heard one of those though, it was very unimpressive. This was many years ago though. I am actually hoping it sounds good, because it would save a TON of work. Good luck!
  16. Ha! You guys are killing me... I get that I am way out of range. It is just annoying that it doesn't connect when I get into range (after remote starting). Hoping this fixes it, but until I have time to update I won't know. I will update as to whether it works when I do get around to it. Thanks.
  17. There is a bunch of wires that go into the rear hatch. Likely one of them has stripped a little and is shorting out... This is a known problem for earlier models I believe.
  18. Can't see your pics from work, but mine are dipped black and then I sprayed glossifier over the top. They look very good and I get compliments all the time.
  19. All of that has been done... I think it has something to do with how long the car is running before I get within range. If I am in my house and start it, no problem. BUT, at work where I am pretty far away it just doesn't connect. I'll try the update some day when I have time to look into it... Who know? Maybe it will work afterwards.
  20. Yeah, there isn't a lot of room... BUT, if you made a custom molded fiberglass box and utilized ALL of the space back there by making a very odd shaped box you MAY be able to get a 10" sub in there... Would be a lot of work, but would be custom. I have little faith in the type of sub you're getting, but many people use them and if you're not looking for earth shattering bass they may very well be just fine (and likely better than the factory option). I am very curious to read your review after you've had a couple days to break it in.
