Ha! Every 100km traveled uses 7.8L of fuel... It equates to about 30mpg. Edit: Conversion tool http://www.convert-me.com/en/convert/fuel/

Reset the "Oil Change Required" warning....HOW?
Lobitz68 replied to Xphyle's topic in Engine & Transmission
Or maybe the information can be found somewhere else...hmmm...maybe in the OWNERS MANUAL. -
There aren't any wires located near the filler neck, filter or plug on mine...highly doubt a wire could have been accidentally disconnected. That, and every wire has a locking mechanism that is pretty damn difficult to remove even if you are trying to remove it.

THIS... There is a code there somewhere... You need ignition, fuel and oxygen for a motor to run, so I would go down that route. OhareFred gave a good starter list. I've seen where the EGR has caused similar issues as well, so that may be worth throwing on the list. And yes, it is possible for a coil to go bad. You would likely have a light on though...

Power steering shouldn't be computer controlled... If your wife is anything like mine she may have missed some important details. Sounds like maybe it wasn't running. If the engine is running the power steering should be operational, especially since it worked after she restarted it (meaning that there is no mechanical issue causing it). I wouldn't worry about it at this point and assume she wasn't paying attention. BTW, no disrespect meant... It just doesn't add up and the fact that you're getting it second hand makes it hard to troubleshoot. Regardless, if it works now, then the power steering is functional and since it is operated mechanically and not via the computer, this is the only logical thing that pops into my head.

Nope. Fog light housings are different and I believe that you have less painted plastics... Mine goes almost all the way to the bottom whereas yours goes slightly lower than the bull bar looking fascia piece. EDIT: The difference are pretty obvious if you look at his pics above and compare them to the ones in your gallery (or just look at your DJ, ha!).

I tend to agree that if you are not upgrading to projectors, that HIR's are you best bet for output. I didn't mention it though because that wasn't your question. If you are looking for a blue tint to the light than HIR bulbs will not give you what you want. HID's will, but there will be lots of scattered light and it's a safety hazard to other (in my opinion). LEDs will also deliver the blue appearance, but the light will be unusable so I would skip those. Bulb part numbers are in you owners manual...

UConnect Radio Differences
Lobitz68 replied to gwin99's topic in Audio, Infotainment Navigation, MyGig, UConnect, etc.
One of the two models does texting... Mine doesn't and there is no button at all, so I am assuming you have the one that does. It may be that your phone is not compatible. You can check the uConnect website to see a list of compatible phones. Pretty confident that it is Chrysler actually... With all of the issues they already have I don't know why they would think an Apple product would fix it. Not to mention that a large percentage of people don't have iPhones. Hopefully it is still very compatible with Android because I will never own an iPhone based on my wife's and friends experiences, and I am a Dodge fanboy. -
Yeah, if the cover is gone that may be all that the issue is. Let us know what you find...

Will you get the work done at your dealership then?? Keep an eye on her?
-
Ha! Well, that explains it... Yes, those are very nice vehicles.
-
Maybe I will remember to look from home...

You have a crossroad... the front end on yours is completely different in every way below the paint...

I always buy from theretrofitsource.com. Unless you are getting the LEDs for your fog lights, I would not suggest them. They typically throw all of the concentrated light in the foreground and do not throw light very far in front of the vehicle. They do not make good headlights because of this.

I haven't been in there, but I can't imagine that there are any wires on the panel. They are usually tight to the sheet metal. How long of a screw did you use? -
Wish I could see the pics from work... they must be on a photo hosting site.

I used glossifier on everything (fascia, grill and wheels)... The UV protectant version. Looks like the OP painted everything (I wasn't sure if I wanted it to stay like it is permanently, so I used dip. I will likely redo most, if not all of it, in paint now that I know I like it...
-
I'm going to third their responses... Check the owners manual. It is possible that a wire is loose somewhere too if the person before you did any customization.
-
That's quite the company car...

I plasti-dipped mine and it matches quite well (with glossifier). It is separate from the bumper and can be removed, but working with plasti-dip, it is easy enough to do without removing it. I can't speak for the OP though...
