I don't have a 2.4, but maybe the throttle position sensor???
-
Easiest way, albeit not the least expensive, is an upgrade! http://www.factorychryslerparts.com/products/DODGE/2009/JOURNEYRT/Katzkin-Leather-Interiors/4494741/LTHROCS2DU.html (I'm sure they can be found cheaper eslewhere)

Man... Black trim really shouldn't need restoration on a 2013 already...

170 kilopascals is roughly 24.7 psi and 250 kilopascals is roughly 36.3 psi... This seems pretty normal to me... Assuming the engine is warm during this test, you are a long ways from the unsafe area, which as Journeyman425 has stated is right around 5 psi.

Finally, My Crossroad Looks Like The Chicago Show Crossroad!

The whining comment was a joke, hence the "Ha!" that followed... -

To clarify... Are we talking about black trim, or black paint??? Obviously very different products and processes depending what you are asking.

Great shot... Looks great in there. Nice mod!

Quit whining about a lack of interest and post some damn pics! Ha! EVERYONE likes pics, they just might not have anything to add to the thread... I know I was waiting for pics to comment. On a side note... Don't say that word until it is confirmed and on the ground... -
Expected delivery, but there is no real time data, correct? You can't look it up and find out that it is in a certain city or anything like that, can you? My understanding of the rail system, in general, is that it is highly unpredictable at best... partially due to large number of users and limited tracks.

There are a buttload of them in Minnesota... I had no idea they existed until I started looking for a new vehicle and I'm a Dodge guy...

Ha! No... We manufacture all kinds of devices, but I work with interventional cardiology products like balloon angioplasty catheters, stents, implantable pacemakers, etc... Life saving devices, not thermometers.

Some data on transmission performance
Lobitz68 replied to jeffhoward001's topic in Engine & Transmission
I tend to try and poke a little fun on the board (all in good fun) in my replies when they don't need to be too detailed... You'll pick up on that soon enough. Life is too short to be serious all of the time. -
Some data on transmission performance
Lobitz68 replied to jeffhoward001's topic in Engine & Transmission
Nothing smart ass about my reply at all... I deal with the shift by accelerating faster. Since there is no way to adjust the shift points or characteristics of the transmission, that is the only way I am aware of "fixing" the issue. When you accelerate through it a little more aggressively it isn't nearly as noticeable and I have not found it to be an issue. You could also use the manual shift, but that gets a bit cumbersome in traffic. -
There is the option with the "premium" stereo to have an 8" sub... I'd like to upgrade the stereo a bit, but don't want to lose cargo room as we camp a lot and are a hockey family (lots of gear and big bags). My thought was to sneak something back there. Thanks for the info, sorry about the thread jack.

Unfortunately, I don't think that you are going to get a lot of answers to your question on the forum... Even Chrysler is just replacing parts blindly. I know that the newer stereos have much fewer issues than some of the earlier models, so you could go out on a limb and grab a new screen. The fact that the lines aren't there with the camera tells me that it is likely something to do with the stereo itself or the wiring. If you are comfortable doing it, it may be beneficial to see if the wiring is all snug and in good condition. With all of the added features in cars these days I am glad that I was able to get the lifetime bumper to bumper warranty on my DJ. Too much that COULD go wrong... I'm sure since I paid for it I won't use it very much, but I'd say that it was worth every penny even if that is the case.

iOS 8 & UConnect Issues
Lobitz68 replied to Armendegga's topic in Audio, Infotainment Navigation, MyGig, UConnect, etc.
The million dollar question... I'll see if I can remember to hook the wife's iPhone up to mine and check it out. Pretty sure she has 8.1 on there now. -
Looks good! Any pics from farther away to get a feel for how it goes with the rest of the interior? Does it glare in your eyes like the OEM knob?
-
Most dodges you just need to pull hard and watch your face so you don't hit it... I feel like I read somewhere that the DJ has a collar that releases it, but I could be mistaken. Either way, I'm sure the install is only like 5 minutes... Get it done and post pics!

Working with 10's certainly is easier, can't argue that! I work in the medical device industry, so we use both systems for just about everything... It can become quite annoying at times, but as long as we sell product within the US and outside of the US, we have no option.

Crooks will spend more time and give more effort finding ways to make money illegally then they ever would getting an education and a job... They aren't lazy or stupid, just a little bit off somewhere.
