  1. How much room is there between the panel and the wheel well?? Any room to squeeze a subwoofer behind the panel?
  2. Ha! I love it... Kind of like interacting with my 8 year-old... The information you provided was excellent and nothing I have seen posted yet; all I'm saying is that UConnect isn't going to give a wet fart about your post (even if you sent them a link)... People have been contacting them about this issue for a long time to no avail and with the consumer support that Apple has, if it hasn't happened yet, it's probably not going to. I'll pray for you guys to get a fix every night before bed though... :goodnight:
  3. you started the change then, but when was it fully implemented??
  4. pretty sure once it is on the car you lose traceability of your vehicle...
  5. I'm guessing most people wouldn't know to look... I assume the part number is on the work order?? Hoping I never have to deal with this myself as it definitely gets that cold here. Though every complaint I have seen is in Canada.
  6. 791 posts and the second most likes on the forum behind the moderator. Clearly I am not helpful on the site at all and just a troll... There is no fix, deal with it until Chrysler does (not going to happen). My advice works just fine on my DJ. If you're going to come to the forum with a pissy attitude and start calling people names you aren't going to get very far... Feel free to go somewhere else and ask for help, see where that gets you. Tool...
  7. Looks daunting... Nice job. Did you have to remove the third row to get the rear side panel off?
  8. You do realize the UConnect will never see your post on this forum, right?
  9. Fix what? The 3-4 shift??? Accelerate faster. Boom...fixed. Next issue?
  10. So when you say it rumbles, you mean that the idle speed is low? In older vehicles I would say replace your IAC valve, but I'm guessing the DJ doesn't have one... You could start by cleaning the throttle body and see if the idle improves. You may have enough build up in the throttle body that it is affecting the idle.
  11. INCORRECT Superchips is a tuner company that cracks into the vehicle programming and changes parameters that affect driveability, shift points, HP, torque, fuel economy and so on... Superchips is a reputable and proven company that provides a quality product which performs exactly as stated. I owned one for my Dakota and Ram and they are well worth every penny...nothing available for the DJ though. The cheap ass chips on eBay are the ones you are talking about.
  12. the service department does the work, not parts...
  13. There isn't a single product that will do what you want... What you need to do is a full detail every couple of years... Clay bar, polish, wax... In order to "bring back the black" you need to get rid of the swirls. I would also wax it 3-4 times a year with a good quality wax to help protect it and minimize the visibility of the swirling.
  14. They are telling you that they won't install it and that they will not take the time to do any work that is not detailed in there shop procedures... It IS possible. Expensive...but possible.
  15. Katzkin is the company that makes the leather seat covers... $500 seems like a lot to add heated seats. The parts have to be less than $100 and labor is minimal...
  16. A snowblower is a machine that blows snow onto the neighbors driveway so that you don't have spend time and energy shoveling the crap... -40C is also -40F (take that magoo!)... That's pretty chilly, but far from uncommon, even here in the states. I actually love winter. The people who complain about it have either never taken the time to enjoy it, or have forgotten about all the fun they used to have before they got old and grumpy. There are so many things that you can do in the winter to keep yourself busy and have a blast. Until I'm too old to have fun with it, I will likely live where I can enjoy it.
  17. Who's whining? And you never gave us the chance to do the conversion, so don't assume we can't!! Will be cold here soon enough, but for now I shall not use the "S" word... Probably should tune up the snow blower though. Not for the driveway, the association takes care of that...need it to get the pond cleared off for some free hockey!! Woot!
  18. was your gas low? No idea... Being that it is a 2013 and likely has a warranty left on it I would bring it to the dealer. Although they probably won't/can't do anything unless they are able to replicate the failure.
  19. Huh... hadn't heard of that before. Glad I always park in the garage.
  20. Yes, have the dealer activate them... I assume you used the factory stuff?
  21. TONS of posts about this... better work on those searching skills!
