the amount of heat needed to open permasealed housings isn't enough to warp the lens. You can do it either way you like, but I find that the oven is the easiest method for controlling heat and getting even heating on all of the edges...

2010 Journey makes revving sound when driving constant speed
Lobitz68 replied to Greg D's topic in Engine & Transmission
I'd start with a new dealer... could be something as simple as a vacuum leak somewhere. -
You should have a TON of life left in your coolant. All fluid specs and change intervals are in your owners manual. My understanding is that there is no PCV on the 3.6 Pentastar engine, but rather a camshaft-mounted centrifuge that spins to separate oil from crankcase blowby gasses. The hose where a PCV would typically be located (if it were needed) is on the back (passenger side?) of the head... Hope that helps.

35-45mm offset would fit the category of "high positive offset"... You can always measure your wheels to get the offset you have currently, but it is not necessary. Here is an article describing how to do so. There are a bunch of other good tech articles at the site as well, look around. http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/tech/techpage.jsp?techid=101

Hmmm... Did you read the thread? That WAS the problem and it was fixed a while ago...

Any 5x5" (or 127mm) high positive offset wheel will work.

Magnaflow doesn't have "series" indications, that is Blowmaster...

Fair statement... Because of their popularity, they really aren't forced to. They could release a phone made from dog shit and people would line up for days before release just to say that they have the new iPhone Poo. Instead, it is every other company who must adapt because they need to make sure that the consumer who is so devoted to Apple gets what they want... UConnect will make updates, they don't have an option.

I can understand your frustration (to an extent), but even if you had the HD it sounds like you still wouldn't get the artwork... So, is it the artwork that is the issue or the cataloging issue? If it is just the cataloging then they should have it addressed soon enough. It's just one of the pains of owning an Apple device. Seems like every iOS roll out has major issues right off of the bat. And, clearly they don't share with the industry until after they release there new operating systems, which causes issues like what you are experiencing. The POSITIVE about it being Apple related is that UConnect will have no choice other then to fix their software since so many people use Apple products for music and telephony services... Relax a bit and give it some time, this would have happened regardless of what brand or model car you are driving.

You could always fold one side down...

I use mine all the time... Can get just about a 12-pack in each one with ice.

I was under the impression that the 8.4" w/ Nav has the HD and that the other one does not... I'm not trying to be a dick, but it sounds like the real issue here is Apple. Not being able to copy music you purchased on to another device is pretty stupid. I would be irate...of course that is why the only Apple device in my household is owned by my wife (she needs a simple device that won't allow her to do anything, that way she can't break anything).

In the instances I was referring to, the dealer was the one who recommended and changed the fluids (supposedly per Chrysler feedback)... Are these new hoses standard on any of the newer models? Seems silly to ship the vehicle to Canada or the northern portions of the US without having the hose in place already. Especially considering it was a known issue that was so prevalent that there has been a constant shortage on hoses... I know that here in Minnesota we spend a significant amount of time below -10°F.

I think that the resonator delete is what is causing the drone in cabins and the "loudness" of the aftermarket exhausts I've seen on the forum. The 3.6 sounds good if done properly. Maybe start with replacing the muffler and seeing how you like that. If it is not enough rumble, move on to the resonators... Of all of the exhausts I've ever heard or tried, Magnaflow is by far my favorite sounding option...especially on a V6 (most sound like dick).

May want to talk to your local dealer to see if they have the "full synthetic" kind that is used for those temps then... We get pretty cold here in Minnesota too, so I'm hoping the power steering thing doesn't happen to me.

Projector Retrofit Started (finally)

Would require a bit more fabrication as the shield on the turn signal are part of the bowl... Would need to be cut and refinished in order to look good. Lots of work there. It is NOT like the ones on the low beam which are screwed in from behind. You can't even tell the shield is there since it is all black, and it will hide the bulb so you aren't looking at an ugly ass bulb all the time. Personally, I think keeping it is the only sensible option. Trust me, I thought about it for a while before moving forward with it... -

It's probably a sales code that needs to be added... Ask Journeyman425, he may have some insight. -
Milous, there are several posts scattered throughout the site about a full synthetic that is being used in colder climates where the hoses are bursting in cold whether. Are either of the p/n's you listed the one spec'd for those conditions?
