Interesting. Care to further explain what you requested? I'd like to see it for mine... -
Check These Out!

He received them and posted pics... then he disappeared. We will never know. Time to make your own! -
What info is it that you are looking for? The process is very straight forward and does not change much from one car to the next... There are a ton of videos online that do a remarkable job explaining the process. Also, TRS has some very good info that I like to tap into. Their knowledge library goes WELL beyond basic installation into the intricacies of set-yp and dialing them in so that they are properly "tuned"...

Yes, you can get TYC's cheaper, but they will not be the certified variety. TYC has 3 grades of lights that they sell. I would avoid using the lowest level and get one of the two certified models. The mid-grade one is perfect for this project as the optics don't need to be certified since they will be replaced. Also, I bought eagle eyes for my avenger and gave up after the fourth pair was still just as broken as the first pair they sent me. While others claim to have had luck with them, the chances of me ever purchasing another set ar about equivalent to me winning the lottery... Never again...

What does this prevent you from doing? Are you no longer able to use the voice command or do you typically use the display to make calls? -
Headlights and Fogs

2014 should be all LED interiors... doubt you'll ever have to replace them. For reference, the bulbs listed on the 2013 should be the same. -

Engine Ticking / Lashing Noise - Lifters / Rocker Arm
Lobitz68 replied to oneframe's topic in Engine & Transmission
I can't find the part number on the drawings, but most of the sites sell each piece separate, so it is probably an assembly, meaning that it is the entire inlet and exhaust set. Price was north of $300, so it sounds about right. -
The "Won't Start" issue rears its ugle head, once again.
Lobitz68 replied to trevcda's topic in Engine & Transmission
It really depends on how often you cycle it... have someone try and start it and crawl underneath and whack the starter with a mallet. If it starts then it is very likely your culprit. Seems early to me though, maybe the battery install left a wire not cinched down properly or there is corrosion on a terminal or ground somewhere? I would check all of those too... -
Not a huge fan of the gold, but I LOVE the anthracite... I am boring and did mine black.
-
I still don't understand why these are useful... its basically another red light in the back for foggy day? Shouldn't you have your headlights on in the fog and therefore already have lights on in back??? I don't get it. Curious to see it though.
-
They just haven't updated for 2014 yet; they are all the same. And yes, they will be chrome, not black. Glad I could help... I wish I had mine ordered, I've been so busy coaching hockey and lacrosse all summer that I haven't had any free time to do anything else. I've had the projectors sitting around FOREVER.
-
RockAuto.com has them for $85/each... that is the best deal I could find by quite a bit. The TYC lights are certified as far as materials and construction go and I've never personally had any issue with them. There are other aftermarket brands that have been an absolute nightmare to deal with though...
-
That's why I typically buy a pair of TYC's... I have yet to see one of those that are permasealed and the fit, form and function are on par with the factory assembly considering that the reflector will not be used going forward.

A multimeter should answer your question in short time if you have access to one.
-
I believe the DJ's are permasealed as well...

Hmmm.... Mine listens quite well. You can change the channel with voice commands. -
New Tires Contentinal True Contact Tires

235 is the width of the tire, not the sidewall height... -
On newer vehicles I would have a shop do it. If you do decide to do it, make sure that you bench bleed the master cylinder very well. ...

Question For all the Geeks
Lobitz68 replied to mrfab1's topic in Audio, Infotainment Navigation, MyGig, UConnect, etc.
Personally, I like that they still give me the opportunity to think for myself. I'm so sick of everything being controlled for me. Giving me the ability to choose how my vehicle interacts with me is one of my favorite things about it. Besides, most of the functions one would use while driving can be controlled via voice commands. The ones that are tough to change shouldn't be changed while driving anyway and the "need" to do so should be relatively non-existent... -
Run a clay bar across it and see if that helps...
