sorry for such a late response Totemus, i to had no experience going into that lil project but found they came off pretty easy....for the longer strip on the passenger side i started with the part closest to the radio and slowly worked my way down, simply sliding the pry tool as you go...some spots may feel like its gonna snap the trim but i just worked the other side slowly and eventually they would just pop out, fortunately none of the clips snapped when i removed mine. best advice i could give at this for being my first time is just take your time...i don't recall where i started prying on the middle shifter trim and other pieces, I'm pretty sure i just picked a spot and started slowly lifting them. =D good luck my friend!!
Thanks Totemus!! Yeah its painted...i used Plasti Dip...havent worked with it before so testing it out and been on for about 2 weeks now and i love the stuff...very durable if applied right. No primer needed and used the Glossifier as well. Like the fact that if i don't like the red on silver i can just peel it off and experiment with another colour....and yeah the shifter panel and trim was all removed to paint...all come off fairly easily with the recommended pry tool.
all red was just done as well as the rims and grill..."BLESSED" added on windshield was a poor choice of colours but will be changed eventually and more to come with time
a few added colours so far...only had the vehicle a few months, looking to do the hood and possibly the roof black, as well as get the caliper's done. more ideas to do as well but will come in time =D
