  1. I think that it depends on how you drive. FCA dumped the CVT in the Compass and Patriot.
  2. Same here, with a rental Caliber! CVT. NOT! Even Subaru is using them now.
  3. Most of the Nissans use a continuously variable transmission with two huge rubber bands instead of gears. I would never own a vehicle with one of theses. I often considered the Pathfinder because it was a truck, but no more.
  4. Welcome to the forum; from one Crossroad to another. The wheels are called Hyperblack.
  5. There are issues with an iPod. Uconnect only supports up to iOS7.1. I specifically hunted down an iPod with iOS7.1 and still could not get it to work as promised. I can not shuffle all my songs, like on my iPod (I'm using an SD card in the car). I pick an Artist, select Play All and it will shuffle songs from all that Artist's CDs. That's it! I WANT MY MYGIG BACK!
  6. Seems odd that they would all fail at the same time. There has got to be more to this story.
  7. No snowflake on my Duelers; just M+S. They are awesome in snow and any wet conditions.
  8. This sounds like the guy from Argentina. His car also suddenly quit on his way home. He never posted back what the problem was. I never had any electronic issues with my 2003 Jeep Liberty Renegade. My 2006 Jeep Commander and my 2011 Nitro each had occasional electronic hiccups! Thank God for warranties.
  9. Talk about OCD: I'm pissed that all of my album art does not display! I hate that generic music note. It screams at me, "Look at me; I'm a POS!"
  10. Yes, you can just switch the covers. There is a tool that you need to reattach the new covers to the seats, and it is a lot easier to remove the seats to swap out the covers. The seats that have air bags in them: the material is designed to split as the air bag inflates. I would compare year to year as to what changes were made with side bolster air bags and active headrests. Even if it were cheaper to purchase the whole seat set, shipping would have to be figured in. The Katzkin covers for my Nitro came in a big box.
  11. The owner's manual shows the jack points in the tire changing section. The vehicle may not be designed to do what you are attempting to do.
  12. My 2014 was NOT pre-wired. Since my Dealer did the installation at the time of my purchase (new), it falls under my warranty. I believe that some dealers will not do this, but just go by the Mopar warranty.
  13. You could always go with a set from Katzkin Leather. You can purchase a set through your dealer, or on their website. Pricing is salty, but they would be made for your seats and you wouldn't have to be concerned with any electronics. Search eBay: dodgejourneyleather. I found a set for my Nitro at a dealer in NY. Someone ordered them, but never had them installed. I got them for what the dealer paid for them, and had a local upholstery shop install them. Then, I resold my cloth coverings on eBay.
  14. Try disconnecting the negative terminal on your battery for about 15 minutes, or so, to reset the electronics in you car.
  15. Struts. Mine clunks once a day when leaving my garage.
  16. Looks good. I'm trying to see if the hood-to-fender stripes from the Nitro will fit the DJ. I like the color they come in; only color offered - sort of a metallic silver gray.
