Mine came with orange fluid from the factory. I do use the orange Rain-X fluid, so I will have to see what happens!

Foglight bulb replacement??
dhh3 replied to JordynSXTAWD's topic in Glass, Lighting, Mirrors, Sun Roofs & Wipers
My Nitro had the same bulbs, and I never could find a replacement. Maybe someone makes one now. I'll try again. Thanks. -
You could always just mount one on the front, put it on the ground. Turn the wheels lock to lock with someone sitting on the fender!

Since this is my first DJ, I did notice how huge the front calipers are on my Crossroad. The view very prominently through the wheels. Red caliper covers should look awesome, IMHO

Foglight bulb replacement??
dhh3 replied to JordynSXTAWD's topic in Glass, Lighting, Mirrors, Sun Roofs & Wipers
Anyone know if a yellow bulb is available for the 2014's? -
I'm considering a set of MGP red caliper covers with the Mopar logo. Red for Christmas! I purchased my car too quickly. I figured that because it had leather it would have seat heaters. Wrong! And, the salesman never mentioned it. So, I may go for a Katzkin heater, at least for the driver's seat. Someone posted that for the passenger seat, only the back can be added because the seat flips open.

Thank you for your service. What do you do in the AF? I was the Boom Operator on the KC135. -
Journey Crossroad Trim Line Launching for 2014
dhh3 replied to StormGrayBlackTop13's topic in Articles, News & Reviews
The "silver" trim is actually platinum. The dash is called liquid graphite as it changes colors side to side. -
Welcome to the forum. When I had my Nitro, I searched doge nitro 20" wheels on ebay, and found replicas: all black, all chrome, or chrome with black inside the spokes. You might search dodge journey 19" wheels, or whatever size that you are looking for.

Too bad Dodge couldn't have added the racetrack tailights. There is a picture of a 2015 Durago's rear. Should be an easy swap since our tailgate is plastic.

iOS 8 & UConnect Issues
dhh3 replied to Armendegga's topic in Audio, Infotainment Navigation, MyGig, UConnect, etc.
The current version of Uconnect is 14/27/B5 iOS8.1 did NOT fix my iTunes issue playing thru Uconnect if you go to uconnectphone.com, it will tell you what phones are compatible with the latest version of Uconnect. iOS8 is still not listed. Apple is slow! -

Welcome to the forum. What is i bay damage?

I was quoted $400 per seat by my local Katzkin dealer! I do know that the Mopar kit for my Nitro was around $250, + installation, but that was for both seats. $400 seems steep for one seat, but I need it for my back. I bought my car too fast. I figured that it had heated seats because of the leather. Oh well, off to the Katzkin dealer!

I found two types of extenders: a short one for the center seat in the second row and one with additional webbing for large people. I opted for the short one. I'll see how it works.

Welcome to the forum. I have had my 2014 Crossroad since the end of June, and I have not noticed any of the issues you are referring to. My car is tight and quiet with no rattles at all. Overall, I am quite impressed.

2 minor issues, after 4 months of ownership. It is hard to buckle my front seat belt. The connector end needs to be longer, at least for me when I have my seat all the way up. Anyone know if a seat belt extender is available for the DJ? Once I thoroughly cleaned the inside of the windshield, at certain light levels there is a line that goes across the windshield - like a bad squeegee job! It is actually a reflection of the two pieces of the top of the dashboard. Anyone else notice this? The windshield on my beast is quite large! Wouldn't want to replace it! Neither one is enough for me to get angry! LOL

Finally, My Crossroad Looks Like The Chicago Show Crossroad!
dhh3 replied to dhh3's topic in Wheels & Tires
What chrome I do have is platinum. But both look good on the Copperhead Pearl, IMHO! Back when the Jeep Commanders were being produced, the Limited was chrome, and the first year of the Overland was platinum. Go figure! -

No robbing or hijacking taken. I love looking at your DJ. I notice the chrome door handles. Mine are body colored. Just as awesome in the fall as in the summer!! Fee like making a trip and detailing mine? She's a beauty. When I do the pictures, I will try and duplicate the angles taken at the Chicago show. The Crossroad wheels do have a deeper dish than any of the other DJ wheels, which make the tires stick out even farther. On the original thread concerning the new Crossroad, there were posts that the wheels seemed bigger. They are 19". Your picture will confirm this. Thank you. Rain tomorrow and Thursday. Believe me, taking the pictures for you guys is my top priority. I'll pick one picture from my gallery to use as a before shot, for comparison. -
!0,000 on your Crossroad already? I just turned over 2,000! Due to failed back surgery, there is not much I can do anymore with my cars. So many mechanical things that I miss doing to my car. The only reason that I traded my Nitro was that it was getting too hard for me to climb up into it, even with nerf bars. The DJ is the perfect height for me; and I especially love the lumber support. Now, I need to add a Katzkin seat heater.

OIC. I was not whining; just making a point. I was on the Nitro Forum for over 3 years (7,303 posts) and every one was like family. So, I am still The Little Green Sprout here! The Mantra of the Nitro Forum: "Without pictures, it didn't happen"! I stand corrected: pictures to come! I want her to be clean, though. Copperhead Pearl is much better looking in a clean status. -
Has the Dodge Journey always been so invisible? Since I have had mine only since the end of June, I have no idea. About two weeks after I bought mine, I was leaving Church and as I walked toward my DJ, a man remarked, "Nice color! BTW, what kind of car is that? Nice looking". He had no idea that Dodge had such a car in its lineup. None of my friends knew what it was, but all of them like it. No complaints here! Last weekend, I was at a regional Slot Car Race. In between races, I went outside for some fresh air - might have been the last warm day of the season. One of the racers asked me if the copper car was mine. When I said yes, he wanted to know which model Ford it was. He could not believe that it was a Dodge until I showed him the grill. I see DJs all the time, even when I was still driving my Nitro. In fact, I was looking at DJs when I bought my Nitro back in 2011. When I am driving, I do get looks all of the time. Mostly from other DJ drivers. I see people looking at it when I am parked in a lot. Is it the color? The fact that it is a Crossroad? Granted, I have only seen one advertisement for the DJ on TV. Come on Dodge; lets get some name recognition out there!

It is dirty, and rain/snow is predicted for tonight. My plan was to post pictures, but there didn't seem to be any interest in this thread.
